Tangled The Series (Varian X Reader)

Chapter 1- Fire

(Y.N POV)

"NO NO NO NO MOM! DAD!" I tried to reach them before they pushed me out of the door of my house that was....burning

"NO! Dont do this...dont leave me....please" I collapsed in the ground in front of the house which was still burning

Soon everyone in my village came and helped put up the fire, then i felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned to look at who it was and it was Quirin, in a way he was like the leader of Old Corona Village

"(Y/N), If you would like you can stay at my house with my son"
 Quirin suggested, and I thought about it for a second
 I had nowhere to go so i didnt have another option

"T-Thanks"
I say quietly
 I turned to glance at what used to be my house and saw a black rock grow from the ground,
 I tried to get close to it but Quirin told me to stay away from them so thats what I did

I had a couple of burn marks on my arms and some on my face
 it hurts a lot but I just ignored the pain
Soon we reached Quirin's house
 he opened the door and steped aside to let me in
which is what I did
 and when i entered I saw a boy my age with light brown pants
 black boots, a light blue buttoned shirt with an overall
 he also had black hair with a streak of blue, and he also had a big pair of gogles
(Idk how to write that im slow okay)

"Son, this is (Y/N) and she will be staying with us for as long as she wants to, please help her with her wounds, I have to help the people put out the fire"
 Quirin said and with that he left again

"Hello, my name is Varian, nice to meet you, follow me I need to take care of your wounds" Varian said and he took me to what seemed to be a lab? 

He then took out a pair of bandages and covered my arm and face
"Thank you, and my name is (Y/N)"
 I said quietly still shooken up by what happened literall minutes ago

"If you dont mind me asking, what is this whole Alchemy stuff for?"
 I asked
 I knew what Alchemistry was
I kind of enjoyed it too

"ALCHEMY not magi- wait, you know what Alchemy is?"
 Varian asked
 shocked at the fact I knew what that was

"Yeah, I always saw it facinating in a way"
 I said
 but then I saw a little raccoon crawl out of nowhere

"You have a pet Raccoon?"
 I asked with a raised eyebrow

"Oh nonono, this is Reddiger, he is a pest i have been trying to get rid off for a while"
Varian said
 picking up Reddiger and took him outside

"You say that he is a pest, yet you gave it a name?"
 I asked with a little smirk as i placed my hand on my hip

"uhh, Moving on- I didnt knew other people knew about alchemistry, most just say I use magic"
 Varian said completely ignoring the question i asked, but anyways
I just chuckled a little

"You wanna see one of my latest inventions?"
 Varian asked and pulled out a little purple orb, which caught my attention
 and he took that as a yes

Varian then threw the orb on the floor and it created a little glue trap
"I invented this in hopes to find a more human way to get rid of NAMED pest, and this was the result"
 He then threw a little yellow ball on it and the glue trap disappeared!

"Woah, you are a great inventor Varian!"
 I said excited 

"You want to learn how to make one?"
 Varian asked and i nodded excitedly, to which he smile

"Alright now throw it"
 Varian said
I threw the little orb and it made a circled shaped glue trap

"Yay! It worked!"
 I said happily at my achievement

"Wait how did you make it Circle-Shaped?"
 Varian asked confused

"Oh I added some of my personal calculations into the formula
 And managed to make it circle-shaped"
I said as I handed him the paper I wrote the calculations in
 he took the paper and was amazed by it

"(Y/N) you are a genius!"
Varian said and hugged me
 to which i didnt even mind

"Nah, you are the real genius here"
 I said and kinda hugged him back
Great! day one and I am already close with him

"It is getting pretty late, we should get some sleep"
 Varian said and yawned
 He went to a couch on the lab and placed some comfy blankets and a pillow

"Thanks V"
 I said as i pulled the blankets over me
but stopped when I realized I called him that without permision

"Ah- Uh- S-sorry for calling you that, I-I-"
 I said but got cut off by Varian

"No its okay, you can call me that I dont mind"
 Varian said and with that he left

"O-okay"
 I said
 and layed down in the couch
 but i was just staring at the cealing
 suddenly I started getting really tired and eventually fell asleep
