Varian sang to himself
"Happy birthday dear Rapunzel, Happy birthday to you"
Varian finished singing after he placed all of the pieces of an Automaton in boxes
"Today is the day I free my father...
Be back soon!"
Varian said and left with all of the boxes
I zoned out for so long I didnt even notice when he came back
I hoped that was the last thing he would do but he kept working
"Dont you think already done enough harm?"
I asked coldly
"Nah, Im just doing the destruction
I want them to think im done for today, But then I will do the final destruction
I need a valuable card if I want them to be where i want them"
Varian said with a smirk
"And who or what is that?"
I asked angrily
"The queen"

It was nighttime, and Varian grabbed poor little Reddiger
"You ready Reddiger?"
Varian asked the terrified raccoon
Varian took his costume and left

Me and the queen said in unison (Okay to make it clear, Y/N was talking about Queen Ariana and Queen Ariana was walking about Y/N)
"Woah ladies, calm down, everything is going as planned"
Varian said
"Wow, very calming Varian"
I said coldly
Varian only looked at me in disbelief
Then he turned to look at the queen
"Dont worry Your Majesty
You are just the bait to lure the princess here
I tried to ask for help but I was denied by EVERYONE in Corona
SO unfortunately, I had to get you"
Varian said as he went over and uncovered the cloth that was covering Quirins ember
I didnt even react, I was numb to pain at this point
But the queen was in shock
"What will happen after you free your father?"
The Queen asked
"Oh after I will make Corona PAY for turning their back on me
Thats when you should worry"
Varian said with a smirk on his face

Ariana said,I turned to look at Varian
"Look at him, thats his face when he is calculating the possible outcome of things"

I hissed at him
"You two used to be close, huh?"
Ariana asked
"You word- AHHHH"
I said as the ember hardened, I tried to contain the pain

"Listen Varian
