Chapter 8- Frozen In The Past (Or, Be Very Scared) PT:1

Varian POV

Rapunzel gave us Demanitus's ancient scroll to us so we can 
De-code it
Demanitus is my inspiriation
And soon it became (Y/N's)

"Demanitus....what does this mean"
I whisper to myself
(Y/N) Took a break
So she went to a table in the back
And she looked like she was calculating something
Hmmm she is too cute when she concentrated
AAAAND I SHOULD BE CONCENTRATED TOO!

All of the sudden I hear my dad's voice
"VARIAN!!"

I turn around quickly and see (Y/N) crying as the ember trapped my dad

"This is all YOUR fault Varian!
If it werent for you Quirin would still be here
I would rather be trapped than be with YOU!"
(Y/N) said and she backed up letting the ember trap her

"NO! (Y/N)! NOT AGAIN! IM SORR-"

The people of Corona bursted throught the door seeing everything
And they started cornering me

"LEVANTESE! VARIAN!" (Levantese= Wake up)
I heard (Y/N)'s voice yell
And I felt her slap me?

I jolt up quickly
And see (Y/N) shaking me by my shoulder
She had a worried looked on her face
And I could tell she was paniking a little

"Varian are you okay? You fell asleep and you strated screamin-"
I quickly hugged her and cause her to fall to the ground
And I started crying on her chest
ANd she didn't question me
She just started singing

"My feet are aching
And your back is pretty tired
And we've drunk a couple bottles babe
And set our grief aside"
(Y/N) started singing while rubbing my back

"The papers say its doomsday
The button has been pressed
We're gonna nuke each other up boys
'Til old Satan stands impressed...."
(Y/N) says as she crawls to a corner dragging me with her

"And here it is"
Our final night alive
As the Earth burns to the ground
Oh boy it's yoooooooouuuuuu
That I lie with
As the aaaaaaatom bomb locks in
Oh boy its you
I watch TV with
as the wooooorld, as the woooooorld caves in..."

She finished singing and I was fully calm by now

"You had a bad dream?"
(Y/N) asked while brushing my hair a little with her fingers

"Y-Yeah"
I mumbled quietly

"Lets just go outside and get fresh air
We've been sitting with that scroll for hour now...
Aaaannd I kinda cheated a little"
(Y/N) winked at me

I stand up and go towards the paper she wrote on
"What did you write anyway?"

"EY NOTHING, SOLO VAMONOS!" (Solo vamonos= Lets just go)
(Y/N) dragged me out before I could even read what she wrote
......What are you hiding from me?......

Reddiger climbed on me as we walked out
"Hello son, (Y/N)"
My dad said as he walked past us

"Ay what a beutiful day"
(Y/N) said as she took a deep breath 

Suddenly Reddiger jumped down and ran to a A RED ROCK?!
Then  he just walked back in fear

I grabbed (Y/N) by the hand closer to the red rock
And we both looked at it in confusion

"Where did Reddiger go?"
(Y/N) asked as she looked around

"Reddiger!"
"Reddiger, where are you!"
The teo of us where looking around in the city
And all of the citizens were giving me dirty looks
But I ignored it
Finding Reddiger was more important

"There!"
(Y/N) pointed at a roof
And we both started running after him
But I was way faster

"Buddy! wait! Where are you going?"
I was running after him but I almost bump into the shoe seller
And a women with a baby

"Woops! sorry! Hi"
I apologize awkwardly

"Don't you have a kingdom to overthrow or something"
The shoe seller said mocking me
Then (Y/N) finally catches up

"You haven't seen a raccoon around here, haven't you?"
I asked but they just ignore me
And the baby starts crying

And (Y/N) was angry
but she just grabbed me by the shoulders and walked away
She was also mumbling profanities

"There you are! Reddiger!"
I ran up to him but he wasnt moving
and he was also...red?

"Uh hello? Whats wrong?"
I asked as I waved my arms in front of his face

Then I saw more rocks emerge from the ground
And everyone around started acting weirdly

"Do you think these rocks give people hallucinations?"
I asked but she didnt reply

(Y/N) POV

I just froze...I couldnt move even if I wanted to

Then I saw Quirin....getting trapped....again
And I was getting trapped too

Then, It was Varian
He walked up to me and...
He just started hitting me
But I didnt even move
I couldnt
And I started crying

"I trusted you and you just turned you back on me like everyone else! I HATE YOU (Y/N)!
I THOUGHT YOU WERE ON MY SIDE!"
Varian yelled as he punched me

And I thought he changed....It was all a lie....

"(Y/N)!"
I heard Varian yell my name as I escaped that reality

But when I saw him I just backed up
And I tripped on something

Tears were rolling down my eyes like a cascade

"G-Get away from me!"
I finally managed to get up and I ran as fast as I could

I didnt even watch where I was running that I bumped into Rapunzel

"(Y/N)! are you okay? what happened to you?"
Rapunzel said as she grabbed me by my shoulders

"T-These rocks they m-made me think...V-Varian was trying to...hurt me"
I said in between tears
But soon I saw my hands start to turn red

"RAPUNZEL WHATS HAPPENING TO ME?!"
I asked her in panic 

"(Y/N)! I promise I will get to the bottom of this!"
Rapunzel said as she backed away a little
Eugene looked horrified at what was happening

"Rapunzel I don't want to be trapped again! RAPUNZ-"
I said as I tried to reach for her but I was frozen and I joined back into that cruel fake reality.....
