"Welcome to the first meeting of the dueling club, for those who remember the farce created by Lockhart, don't worry we have experts this time!" Althea addressed in a cheerful voice the students gathered for the opening over the club laughed at the joke, especially those who remembered Lockhart.

They were in one of the castle's halls, Althea standing above the other students on a raised platform.

"Professor Flitwick was kind enough to become our supervisor, along with professor Snape to teach us how to duel or in Madam Pomfrey's case, teach us how to avoid minor accidents and heal minor wounds..." as Althea introduced the club from a corner of the room professor Umbridge listened, she wasn't very happy about having to approve the club, there was too much of a risk of some students becoming Dumbledore's supporters.

But integrating herself with the heirs of many different prestigious families and the younger sister of Lord Slytherin was too tasty a move to pass up.

Little did the toad know that the punishment she had given that previous evening to a Ravenclaw first year with one of her special feathers had not gone unnoticed and her fate was already sealed.

Umbridge's appointment as supreme inquisitor would normally have attracted much attention and concern from the students, if it had not been for another piece of juicy news that had begun to circulate and had completely eclipsed the ministerial decree.

After all, what teenager is more interested in a piece of paper that one of the most beautiful girl's in school is engaged to the stranger who accompanied her to the dance last year? Answer:none.

Oh yes, Umbridge's (totally momentarily) takeover went totally unnoticed, overshadowed by the news of Althea Dorea Potter's engagement.

Thea didn't particularly appreciate bring put in the limelight again, but after 5 years she was used to it, the thing she hated the most was that everyone wanted to snoop and pry into her relationship to find out who the dark stranger was, who had stolen one of the most attractive girls in school.
She would never complain about how Kyo-kun hated crowds again.

At least having the attention in her allowed Neville to move against the toad, even through Althea didn't agree with the Pendragons stupid plan at all (and that's fine she yelled at the Gryffindor for 3 hours straight questioning his mental stability, Tsuna and Enma had also joined her tirade in the video conference), the only thing that consoled her was the fact that the evidence would all be seized by her guardians and that she would be able to enjoy Umbridge's fall from a front row seat.

The young boss didn't know if he wanted the plan to succeed or not, if the plan didn't succeed he would end up as the target of Althea's knives...even if the fact that the plan worked meant suffering an attack from Umbridge and be the victim of long training sessions coordinated by Blaise and Reborn...perhaps it hadn't been a great idea.

But now it was too late to complain, they had been stalking the toad all last sunday morning before the winter holidays, waiting for the right moment to bring about retribution. Neville under the watchful eyes of the Vindex and Althea, who was currently using her shape shifting and an intricate mask to hide her identity (it had been decided that the particular look would be used to present to the world 'the queen of the Vindex' the fictitious identity would act as a cover for Althea, and would allow her to remain an alliance healer without consequences). While an illusion created by Luna posed as Althea, when in the middle of the hall, in front of all the students and a couple of the teachers the toad tried to humiliate a first year Hufflepuff just because she was a first generation witch.

While the other students were stuck, scared and angry, Neville stood between the little Hufflepuff and the toad, this had definitely not been the plan, but regardless of whether Neville wouldn't have let Umbridge attack a little girl like that, no one would have ever expected Umbridge to use the cruciatus curse on Neville.

Despite the pain of the curse Neville managed to remain standing for all 5 seconds he was subjected to the torture that had turned his parents into vegtables, the curse did not stop because Umbridge deemed it efficient, but because under the gaze of the frightened and horrified by those present, a long black chain had torn the wand from Umbridge's hand, while a second wrapped itself ferociously around the witch.

And in the cold of that December day, made even more freezing by the enormous black portal that had just appeared in the center of the entrance, the merciless voice of the Vindex rang out "Dolores Jane Umbridge. For having used an unforgivable curse on the tenth boss of the Pendragon family, you are condemned to immediate imprisonment in Vendicare."

And among the screams of the toad, the terrified looks of the students and professors and the ruthless coldness of the Vindex gathered around a woman dressed in black with a cape with the emblem of the mafia law guardians draped over her shoulders and a mask on her face, Umbridge was dragged into the black portal, which closed as the Vindex retreated into it, never to be seen again.

Leaving a group of terrified students to watch the boy who hadn't fallen to the ground despite the curse.

Cornelius Fudge was shaking like a leaf in his office,he had just received a vision from the Vindex to tell him Unbridge's crimes against the boss of the Pendragon family.

The ultimatum was clear: put another incompetent teacher who threatens the students at Hogwarts and you will end up with Umbridge.

He decided to contact Madame Bones, an auror would have been a valid substitute...

At least he hoped.

Auror Nymphadora 'don't call me by my name you idiot' Tonks was the first to offer when Madam Bones asked if someone could replace Umbridge as a professor, as no one else was interested the position was quickly confirmed.
What Madam Bones didn't know was that Tonks had been Spying on Dumbledore's order of the phoenix for her cousin Sirius for a while now.

Cousin Andromeda, Tonks' mother was the only family member Sirius liked, the fact that she had been disowned for marrying a first generation wizard was only a plus point for Sirius, in fact after being cleared of charges he got back in touch with his favorite cousin and her family (in addition to disowning Bellatrix and readmitting Andromeda in the family, showing the middle finger to his mother), which is why the first thing Tonks had done when she had been contacted by the order of the phoenix was to contact Sirius and fake a fight that would break the relationship between the two, while in reality she had become a spy for the Varia in the order and ministry (while Snape was mostly concerned with spying on Voldy).

It was therefore natural to offer herself as a new teacher.

She couldn't wait to meet Althea...

Oh yeah , she hadn't told Sirius that her father worked with the Pendragons and she was primarily the eyes and ears of the family along with the aurors, well considering they were allies there shouldn't be any problems.
