In the serene atmosphere of his studio, Jeonghan was engrossed in perfecting the final touches on his designs for the upcoming fashion week. The air was filled with the soft hum of sewing machines and the occasional rustle of fabric. His mind was consumed by the intricate details of each ensemble, his fingers delicately adjusting patterns and fabrics.
Suddenly, the tranquility was shattered by the arrival of his younger sister, Subin. His usually cheerful demeanor was marred by a look of distress, his hands trembling slightly as he approached Jeonghan's worktable.
"Jeonghan, I need to talk to you," Subin said, his voice tinged with urgency.
Jeonghan glanced up from his designs, concern etched into his features. "What's wrong, Subin? You look troubled."
Taking a deep breath, Subin began recounting the events of the previous night. He spoke of how he had been accosted by a group of unsavory individuals while walking home alone. His voice wavered as he described the fear that had gripped him, the desperate feeling of being outnumbered and helpless.
"But then," Subin continued, her expression brightening slightly, "a stranger appeared out of nowhere and came to my rescue. He fought off those creeps and made sure I got home safely."
Jeonghan's eyes narrowed, his protective instincts kicking into overdrive. "Why didn't you call for help? Why weren't you accompanied by a bodyguard?"
Subin shifted uncomfortably under her brother's gaze, guilt weighing heavily on her conscience. "I-I didn't think I needed one. I've never had any trouble before."
Jeonghan's jaw clenched, his frustration bubbling to the surface. "That's beside the point, Subin. You can never be too careful, especially in this city. I won't have you putting yourself in harm's way like that."
Subin lowered his gaze, chastened by her brother's reprimand. "I'm sorry, Oppa. I should have been more careful."
Sighing heavily, Jeonghan reached out to place a reassuring hand on Subin's shoulder. "It's okay, Subin. You're safe now, and that's all that matters. But from now on, promise me you'll take a bodyguard with you whenever you're out alone."
Subin nodded earnestly, her resolve firm. "I promise, Oppa. I won't take any chances from now on."
Jeonghan's curiosity piqued as Subin described the mysterious man who had come to her rescue. "Can you remember anything else about him?" he asked, his brow furrowed in concentration.
Subin paused, trying to recall the details of the stranger's appearance. "Well, he had this really charming smile," she began, a faint blush coloring her cheeks. "And he had a dimple on his left cheek when he smiled."
Jeonghan's eyes widened with recognition. "A dimple? That sounds familiar," he mused aloud, racking his brain for any possible matches. "Do you remember anything else about him?"
Subin shook her head, her expression thoughtful. "Not much, really. It all happened so fast, and I was so grateful to him for helping me. I didn't get a chance to ask his name or anything."
Jeonghan sighed, frustration creeping into his voice. "This is frustrating. I wish I could figure out who this mysterious savior of yours is."
Subin bit her lip, a faint memory stirring in the back of her mind. "Wait a minute," she said suddenly, her eyes widening with realization. "I think I've seen him before, maybe in the newspaper or something."
Jeonghan's interest was piqued once again. "In the newspaper? What for?"
Subin shrugged, trying to piece together the fragments of memory. "I'm not sure. It was just a fleeting glimpse, but I remember his face seemed somewhat familiar, like I'd seen it once or twice before."
