As Jeonghan stepped out of the airport, the crisp Korean air greeted him, tingling with a sense of familiarity and nostalgia. He took a deep breath, trying to shake off the residual anxiety from his long absence. The bustling crowd flowed around him, everyone lost in their own world, rushing to their destinations.
His eyes scanned the surroundings, taking in the sights and sounds of his homeland after two years away. But something caught his attention—a group of men in black suits moving with purpose through the throng of people. Their demeanor was stern, their strides confident, and Jeonghan couldn't shake off the feeling of intimidation that radiated from them.
Curiosity piqued, Jeonghan followed at a safe distance, his heart pounding with anticipation. As the men approached the entrance, the crowd seemed to part effortlessly, giving them a wide berth as if acknowledging their authority without question. Jeonghan found himself caught in the midst of this silent acknowledgment, his gaze locked on the mysterious group.
Jeonghan froze as their eyes locked, his breath catching in his throat. It was him—Seungcheol, the leader of the men in black. Memories flooded Jeonghan's mind in a rush, each one more vivid than the last.
He remembered their first meeting, the sparks that had flown between them despite the danger that loomed over them. Their stolen moments together, the passion that had ignited between them like a flame in the darkness. And then, the betrayal that had torn them apart, leaving Jeonghan with nothing but regret and a broken heart.
But as Jeonghan looked at Seungcheol now, he saw a different man—a man who had gained weight, who looked more muscular and formidable than ever before. The sight sent a shiver down Jeonghan's spine, reminding him of the power Seungcheol held, both physically and emotionally.
For a moment, time seemed to stand still as they stared at each other, the weight of their shared history hanging heavy in the air between them. Jeonghan's mind raced, unsure of what to do or say in this unexpected reunion.
Seungcheol's expression remained unreadable, his eyes betraying nothing of the emotions that lay beneath the surface. But Jeonghan could feel the intensity of his gaze, the unspoken questions and emotions that lingered there.
Unable to bear the tension any longer, Jeonghan cleared his throat, breaking the silence that had settled over them. "Choi Seungcheol," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Seungcheol's lips quirked into a faint smile, but there was no warmth in it. "Jeonghan," he replied, his voice low and gravelly.
The sound of his name on Seungcheol's lips sent a jolt of electricity through Jeonghan's veins, stirring up memories and emotions that he had long tried to bury. He felt like a moth drawn to a flame, unable to resist the pull of the man who had once held his heart in his hands.
But before Jeonghan could say anything more, Seungcheol turned away, disappearing into the crowd without a backward glance. And just like that, he was gone, leaving Jeonghan alone with his thoughts and the weight of their unfinished business hanging heavy in the air.

Seungcheol sat in the plush leather seat of the private jet, his mind swirling with conflicting emotions. His gaze was fixed on the window, but his thoughts were far away, tangled in memories and regrets.
The other members of the Midnight gang were scattered around the cabin, their expressions a mix of confusion and curiosity. Seungcheol could feel their eyes on him, their unspoken questions hanging in the air like a heavy fog.
Suddenly, he straightened in his seat, his jaw clenched with determination. "Everyone, listen up," he announced, his voice cutting through the silence with authority. "We're not going to the USA anymore."
