Jeonghan's heart pounded with a mix of fear and urgency as he listened to Jungwoo's revelation about Seungcheol's true identity. The realization hit him like a ton of bricks, sending a chill down his spine as he grasped the gravity of the situation.
"Are you sure about this, Jungwoo?" Jeonghan asked, his voice strained with worry. "Are you absolutely certain that Coups is Seungcheol, the leader of the Midnight gang?"
Jungwoo nodded solemnly, his expression grave. "Yes, I'm sure," he confirmed. "I've been digging into Seungcheol's background ever since we heard about the incident with Subin. It all adds up – the timing, the connections, everything."
Jeonghan's mind raced with a million thoughts as he processed the implications of Jungwoo's revelation. He knew that Subin was in grave danger, that her crush on Coups had unwittingly entangled her in the dangerous world of the Midnight gang.
Without another word, Jeonghan dashed out of his studio, his heart pounding in his chest as he raced home to warn Subin. Every second felt like an eternity as he navigated the crowded streets, his mind consumed with thoughts of his beloved sister and the peril she faced.
Finally, he reached the familiar gates of his family's mansion, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he sprinted towards the front door. But as he stepped inside, his heart sank at the sight of the somber faces of the servants and his father, Junghoon, waiting for him in the foyer.
"Han," Junghoon said, his voice heavy with concern. "We have a problem. Subin hasn't returned home from university."
Jeonghan's blood ran cold at the words, a knot forming in the pit of his stomach as he struggled to comprehend the gravity of the situation. "What do you mean she hasn't returned?" he demanded, his voice tinged with panic. "Where could she be?"
The servants exchanged worried glances as they recounted the events of the day, their voices hushed as they spoke of Subin's disappearance. "We've tried calling her, but her phone goes straight to voicemail," one of them explained, their expression grim.
Jeonghan's mind raced with a thousand possibilities, each one more terrifying than the last. Had something happened to Subin? Was she in danger? And if so, where could she be?
"We need to find her," Jeonghan said, his voice tinged with urgency. "We have to search every inch of this city until we bring her home safely."
Junghoon nodded in agreement, his face etched with worry. "I'll call the police," he said, his voice heavy with concern. "We need to act fast before it's too late."
As the search party was organized and the mansion buzzed with frantic activity, Jeonghan's mind raced with thoughts of Subin and the danger she faced. He knew that he had to find her, to protect her from whatever threats lurked in the shadows.
But as he stepped out into the night, his heart heavy with worry, Jeonghan couldn't shake the feeling of dread that gnawed at his insides. For he knew that time was running out, and that the fate of his beloved sister hung in the balance.
Meanwhile, deep within the confines of the Midnight mansion, Subin found herself trapped in a nightmare from which there seemed to be no escape. Alone and terrified, she struggled to come to terms with the harsh reality of her situation, her mind reeling with thoughts of Seungcheol and the betrayal she had endured.
As she sat alone in her room tied with ropes, her heart heavy with despair, Subin couldn't help but feel a sense of overwhelming fear. She was trapped in a world she didn't understand, at the mercy of a man who had once claimed to love her but now saw her as nothing more than a pawn in his twisted game of power and control.
