May. POV.
"Oh! Hello Mr Alexander."
I greeted my boss . Alexander looked embarassed for startling me and said
"I am sorry for startling you. I was in this place to buy some beasic necessities and saw you struggling with it and couldn't stop myself but to help you. "
" No need to worry . It is okay. " I told Alexander and saw the trolley behind him filled with toothpastes, brushes, ect but they seem to be two in quantity but never mind it is not my business.
After that we both walked side by side with our trolleys to take the things we need and the whole time we were quiet and just minding our business. But sometimes I felt him sneaking glances at me and I was also doing the same thing.
After we were done we went to the billing counter . I was first in line and Alex behind me . I quickly paid off for the things and then started contemplating whether to wait for him or not and then decided to wait for him . When he was done paying his bills he looked at my and I saw a genuine smile on his face as if me waiting for him meant a lot to him. And actually I also wanted to wait for him.
We both carried our bags . Alexander wanted to carry my bags also but according to me till the time I can carry things I will do it willingly and if one day I can't then I will ask for help . As we went outside Alexander went to his car and asked me to offer a ride to my home. I wanted to refuse but then I agreed. As I have to walk back home even if it is ten minutes away to my home.
Alexander took bags from me and put the bags in the trunk of the car. And then I entered the passenger seat of the car and Tied the seatbelt around me. It took less than four minutes for us to arrive at my place. As I got down from the car. Alexander also got down for the car picked up my bags and handed them to me. I asked him
"Would you like to come over and have some water at my place?"
"No. Thank you May but I got to go somewhere. How about this tomorrow you can treat me to dinner?"
He said to me .
"Okay Mr Alex. "
I replied. Then I asked him
"Mr Alex. I don't have your contact number. Then how will I contact you about the time and place ?"
"May you don't have to worry. I have your number. Before leaving my home I will message you and then I will pick you up from your house and then we can go for dinner. Is it okay?"
"Yeah. " I replied.
And then He said
"May you should call me Alex only. We now know each other. So drop the formalities. Okay. "
I nodded and then he ruffled my hair and then left me in daze staring at his car moving away with him waving goodbye to me.
