Chapter-31

May.POV.

After Alex proposed me and I agreed we have been living our days in bliss. Everyday we spend together. Even all the employees of our company know that we are now going to get married in the future and has congratulated us .

Anaya and Andrew also likes to hang out with us. Most of the times wet to see the lovey- dovey couple Anaya and Andrew who don't shy away from expressing their love for each other. Looking at them feels like as if they have always longed for each other and the time they were apart has brought them even more closer.

I have decided that Anaya will be my bridesmaid and Andrew will be Alex's best man. Today me and Alex are going to his parents house as they want to meet me and decide about the wedding preparations. I am nervous meeting them because I don't know whether they will like me or not. What if they ask me to leave Alex? But Alex assured me that they will love me. Alex has one younger brother named Raymond who is in high school . His parents who are scientists has also taken a day off so that they can meet me . His grandparents are also coming. In all I will meet the whose family. His Parents names are Vernon and Kathleen. His father is a chemist and mother is a biologist. They both have many patents under their names and are highly respected in the society. His grandparents names are Hayden and Crystal. Hayden is a businessman and Crystal is a housewife.

We left in the morning as we will be spending two days over there with the whole family. I thought that his parents house will be a big mansion but it is a small house suitable for ten people . It is beautiful as if it has been made with care. The house was enclosed with walls and there was hig tech surveillance there. The gate of the house was automatic and it can be opened isth the passcode. In front of the house there is a beautiful garden loaded with beautiful flowers . After entering the house I also saw that there was a kitchen garden where many vegetables were planted. As we reached the door Alex held my hands and pressed the doorbell. After two minutes the door was opened and we were welcomed by the whole family who were smiling from eat to ear.  I was wearing a yello tea length jewel necked with a silhouette which is tight at the bodice and flares out at the waist and ends near the knee. I put my hair in a ponytail. I was wearing studs and a diamond bracelet which I bought for myself . I was also wearing yellow sandles and was not wearing any makeup just a moisturiser because wearing makeup is tiring. Alex was wearing a white shirt and black pants with black shoes. He was in his casual attire as he said that he is going home and there is no one to impress because the one he wanted to impress is now getting married to him.

Kathleen and Crystal hugged me and Raymond shyly greeted me which I responded back. Vernon and Hayden also greeted me and hugged Alex. His family is so welcoming that I never thought they would be. Now I know from where does Alex gets his jolly nature from. His family has such a vibe that they will make other people wants to join them. Alex has his mother's grey eyes and father's black hair. Raymond is his father's copy. Alex has his mother's features. Looking at them can tell anyone that they are a big and sweet family.

The whole day we talked and ate a lot. We also played many games. I also told them about my family and after hearing about it they all hugged me and told me that from now on We are all Family. They love and compassion was so sweet that it makes me want to stay here forever. During the lunch time. Alex took me to give the tour of the house and rest of the family started preparing lunch. I wanted to help but they said that it is their day today.

Their house has a swimming pool, a TV room , kitchen, office room, Washrooms, garden, swings, and a lot of rooms. Even though their house looks small from outside but it is big from the inside. The security of this house is really excellent and the government has also provided security to Alex's parents and family. Then Alex showcased me his room and when I entered the room I saw that there were mine and his photos all over the one side of the wall. The photos were of during my birth, teenage and during competitions. There were also many photographs of me and Alex together. When I turned to look at Alex he told me that

" I know you don't have the best childhood. So I want to create a new family with you where you belong. I want to fill your dark memories with memories of mine. I know that I was not there when you needed me the most but I promise you that I will be there in the future. "

After listening to his words  I became so happy because I have decided not to cry anymore. Because the people who love are trying really hard to make me happy and I can't put their efforts in vain. I hugged Alex who hugged me back. And together we started admiring the pictures on the wall. There were also Alex's childhood pics with his family and he looked so cute in these pictures.

After looking at the pictures which continued for about fifteen minutes. Raymond came and called us for the dinner. The dinner was home cooked and it was tasty . His family aslo thanked me for saving Alex when he was young. And they are happy that now I am the part of their family and they will respect me and my wishes.

Alex's Parents also took a week off because we will be preparing for the wedding. The wedding is after one week and it is sufficient time for us to prepare. We have decided to hold a small wedding with just family and friends. Alex's Parents rarely take days off so their instituted have them days off gladly. Raymond is also excited for the wedding and will aslo help us with the wedding. He has vacations going on right now so his studies won't suffer and can enjoy the wedding gladly.

We also informed Anaya and Andrew to come tomorrow at Alex's parents house because from there we will be going for the preparations for the wedding m I don't mind marrying Alex sooner Because sooner the better.

After dinner Crystal prepared bedsheets and blankets for us and left the room so that we could sleep. After washing and changing into our nightwear we went to sleep together in each other's embrace happily.
