Chapter-14

May. POV.

After Alex left I quickly changed into my comfortable nightwear and removed the makeup which I have applied. After Removing all the makeup my skin felt so fresh and then I applied moisturizer. Then I sat down on the bed nd opened my laptop and checked for my mails. And I saw that I was selected for the competition where I have to be physically present and on the spot we are supposed to draw our design and submit it. The one whose design is the best will win the award which includes a trophy and half a million dollars.

I was happy but next week I have to go to the city T where they have organized the event at a famous hall which can accomodate over 10,000 people. I have a feeling that I will see Josephine over there but I have no fear because I have done nothing wrong. It is they who should be afraid of me.

But Josephine',s boyfriend Bruce is someone who irks me out because when Josephine needed my kidney he tired to act close to me and convince me so that I could give my Kidney to her but she is my sister . It is my duty to do this for her. If it is not me then who?

I don't know what kind of melodramatic plot did he watch that he thought that he would make me fall in love with him and for him I will willingly give my Kidney to her. It was absurd.

But when I told about this to Josephine all I got was accusations and a slap from my Eldest brother. After that I stopped talking to them even if we never actually talked. After that I quietly donated my kidney and left their world. During the whole process I saw none of my parent and not even a word of care from them. That's why I left that toxic family and now I have started my own life and hopefully also the love of my life.

I know that I am strong and I don't need anyone's support but a companion wouldn't be so bad .

I filled up again the form for the finals and before going to bed I saw the message from Alex's number which I saved after taking it from him when I entered my home. He has messaged me good night . I also replied the same to him and then went to bed with a smile and a sleep without any thoughts . Just Peace.
