The Twin He Wanted

Chapter-30

May. POV.

When the movie got over I saw Anaya rest asleep in Andrew's arms who was holding her close. It felt as if she as sat her home. When Andrew tried to wake her us she refused and climbed on Andrew so that she was sitting on top of him. Andrew didn't look as of he was uncomfortable. It looked like as if he was enjoying this. He got up with Anaya stuck to him like a little monkey to his baby m I tried to stop my laugh but it didn't work so I hid my face is Alex's chest to hide it. Andrew starting walking with Anaya in his arms who woke up when we got out from the theatre. Everyone was giving them looks but Anaya didn't faze and Andrew looked proud. And like that only they went to their bike where Andrew sat down with Anaya sitting in front of him face him and her legs crossed across his waist and hugging him. Andrew helped her with helmet and wore his and  after bading goodbye they left together .

I like how they express their love without any boundary and doesn't care about other people's opinion. Looking at them makes me also want to have a relationship like that with Alex but they we are now is also special and is best for us.

After they left Alex said that we should go for the dinner as he has booked a table at a restaurant for us . I was hungry so went there. When we reached there ,it was a private room and the interior was also very good. You could see the outside landscape and with the glittering stars and lights it wa breathtaking that you could gaze at it as long as you want. I admiring the outside beauty and in the meantime Alex ordered the meal for us which had dishes which we like. We ate our dinner talking about ourselves and what we feel about each other now and what are the things we don't like about each other. It is always good to have a good chat with your partner because everyday you learn something new about your partner. And within few months you can never fully know a person and specially when you consider that person as someone you can see your future with.

After the dinner we left for our apartment and when we reached outside the apartment Alex told me that he forgot his cellphone in the car and told me to enter inside the apartment. I knew the passcode of his apartment so I entered the apartment and looked for the Switches for the lights and when I switched on the lights , the apartment was fully decorated with balloons and flowers, there was a banner of 'Will you marry me ?' pasted on the wall and there was a big projector on the side of the living room where a video in which Alex who was wearing  a black tuxedo was started playing  where he said

"May, I want to tell you that I am the Pied Piper from your past. Since the moment I saw you I have felt closer to you. You were my ray of sunshine during my hard times and when at your expense you freed me, that was the moment I vowed to give you the best and make you mine. After I was reunited with my family I tried to find you but your family hid you so I couldn't meet you. I did see Josephine but she was not you. But the moment I saw you in an international competition competiting under Josephine's name that I knew that something was wrong and you needed help. I tried to help you but I didn't know where you family hid you. Then I hired some hackers who told me about your organ donation . The only way I could take you out was to give you what you needed the most . So I played a bit safe and offered you a job which you accepted and now here we are. If you hadn't accepted my offer then I would have offered your parents to marry you to me. Either way I had made plans where we could meet and get to know each other because for once I want to do something for you. But it turned out you never needed my help and was never a damsel is distress. You fought you own battles and knew what you wanted in life. I am actually thankful that you decided to have a realtionship with me . It was you who saved me and chose me. If you think that you are ready to accept me as a marriage partner then you can come outside the building. If not then you can stay here and I will wait for you for half an hour. And later I will try again later to make you my wife. "

With that the video ended with 'Will you marry me ?' written on the screen. I thought about it for sometime. I know that it is an important decision of my life and I can decide it in half an hour but Alex has never given me a signal which can show ase me that why I should not choose him. He loves me wholeheartedly and does everything for me. I don't think that I can find anyone better than him. And if he will hurt me somehow then I know how to make him pay back. It is my life and I am an adult. I know what I want and I don't think I need anyone else to tell me what is right and what is wrong for me. And deep inside I do want to marry Alex and I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to spend life with the one you love.

After thinking about all this I saw that there were only five minutes left . So I quickly left the apartment and took the lift  to the ground floor. When I came out of the building I saw Alex's car parked in front and in front of it Alex was standing holding a bouquet of roses but now he was looking down thinking that I will not come. This is the first time I have seen him this sad. I quickly called out his name and he immediately raised his head and when he saw me I quickly ran towards him and hugged him and said softly in his ears

"Yes. "

After he heard my answer he was os happy that he quickly picked me up and twirled me around. I hid my face in his neck and then I heard hootings of joy.  I raised my head and saw Anaya and Andrew looking at us Smiling and giving us thumbs up. Anaya was making the video and Andrew was popping the popers.

Alex put me down and Anaya came running and hugged me and congratulated me and Alex. Andrew also did the same. We thanked them . And together we left for the apartment where the akte night party was going to be held. On the way Anaya told me that it was Alex's plan which she and Andrew executed. We spent the whole night talking about our childhood memories some of them which were painful and some were happy. But now the happiest thing in my life is that now I have my fiancee and best friends right by my side.
