The Twin He Wanted

Chapter -16

May. POV.

Next day when I woke up I was feeling refreshed and full of ideas. I also decided that today I will do my best because today is the day I am going to the competition with the identity and May and I want to show to the world that I am not just an organ donor. I am more than that.

I quickly took bath and dressed up in a pink  full sleeves knee length dress . I chose black sports shoes to go with it. I pulled up hair in a ponytail and wore diamond studs in my ear. I also applied a bit of makeup as we will be under the camera and I don't want to look dull.

Alex was also ready and he was wearing  white shirt and grey pants with back shoes. Altogether he was looking fine. He looked at me and said

"You are looking beautiful and I think many will chose you as their inspiration. "

I smiled at his compliment and said

"I think you are the one who is taking away my ideas as my mind will be filled up with your Thoughts only. "

He looked surprised as he didn't expect my comeback but was feeling proud. He held my hand and together we entered the place where our competition was supposed to enter. The invigilator showed me my seat  on the stage and Alex was made to sit on the front row and from my place I can look at him clearly. He gave me an encouraging smile which took away all my anxiety. It is not my first time attending this competition but earlier I did it on a wheelchair and pretending to be sick. I know it is wrong but what can a teenager whose parents are then guardian can do. I could only obey them and usually my parents secretary would accompany me who never liked me and used to pass mean comments to me and used to threaten me that if I will not win he will abandon me and will run away.

But now it doesn't matter as I have now someone who will look after my wellbeing. I just hope that Alex is what he showcases me because I don't know what I will do if our relationship turns out to be a lie. Let's not jinx it.

There were about twenty contestants and the topic for the jwellery will be decided on the spot. When all the jury and the contestants came. We provided with the tabels on top of which all necessary thing to draw a design was placed. I was happy and excited looking at them. The topic they gave us was 'Viel'. It was unique and difficult. It took about a hour for me to finish and the time limit was two hour. I finished the colouring and touch up and when I was done the time limit was also completed. The invigilator ame and took away our sheets and tabels were also removed. Then it was time for us to leave so that the Jury can decide today's winner.

Till that time we were escorted to the place where a sort of party was going on as companies were selecting potential candidates and offering them contracts for jobs. I am alredy working in 'Orna' so I don't need to . So I just walked around with Alex and together we are some food as I was nervous earlier so I had less but now I relaxed so I ate more.

When we were done eating me and Alex started taking slow walk holding our hands and then suddenly I saw someone who I never expected to be here .
