Chapter-13

May. POV.

We both kept looking at each other and I must say that Alex has the features which can swoon a girl at a glance and by default I am no exception. I really want to touch his face and feel his self but I think it will be appropriate so I just smiled at him and walked towards him. He also took a few steps so that we were standing facing each other. I could see it in his eyes that his whole attention was on my face . Then he slowly raised his hand and held my hand and said

"I never knew that you could look more beautiful than before just by changing the attire. "

I smiled at his choice of words and said.

"I can say the say for you because you look handsome very day. "

Then he motioned me towards the car and opened the passenger side door of the car for me and helped me inside the car making sure that I don't bump my head or my dress remains intact.

Then he closed the door and entered the driver seat of the car and drove to the restaurant "Amos" which is a famous continental restaurant with five star reviews. It is only half an hour away from my home with the car.

When we reached the restaurant the valet was waiting for us . He opened the door for Alex who is turn opened the door for me. He held my hand and together we entered the Restaurant. We have already book the table for us . We enquired about our table and the manager showed us out table which is a private room. The whole time Alex was holding my hand tightly afraid that I would leave. It feels like we are on a date and I don'tind. Even if it is in my fantasy world I would like to consider it as a date and somewhow I feel that Alex also feels the same for me otherwise who would treat his employee like that. Definitely not me.

Alex pulled the chair of the table for me to sit down and then sat in front of me . The waiter entered the room and served us with water and gave us the menu and left for us to decide the menu. After some time he came back and took our orders and left the room.

Me and Alex talked about our likes dislikes, our ambition, our hobbies etc.

He also discussed some business related matters with me. We ate our food in harmony and trust me it was peaceful . I think I can talk to Alex without a break anytime.

It looked like our first date. Even though I like Alex I don't know how to take a step to towards the relationship. I have never been in a relationship so I don't know. So I will go with the flow and I am sure that Alex aslo feels the same for me because no boss would treat his employee like that.

After the food we ordered the desserts and when they came I started eating but Alex was silent as if thinking about something . I stopped eating because I was looking like a starving ghost and then looked at Alex and saled him what was wrong. Then he took a deep breath and asked me

"May , Would you like to go out with me ? Because I want to know you better and have a relationship with you. Is it okay? If you are not comfortable I would never appear infront of you and we can remain as friends. "

"Okay. I would love to go out with you. "

I replied Instantly because I was waiting for it. If it would not have been him I would have asked him muyself Because life is too short to have anny regrets. I don't feel shame or anything because we are both adults and we should know what we want . We can't always wait for someone to tell us that we like somebody or we look good together. If I want something I will not hesitate.

After hearing my answer there was a full blown smile on his face. I never thought I could see him simle like that it also brought a smile to my face. He held my hands and said thank you to me and I also said the same.

We left the restaurant with smiles and even when I returned to my home I was till smiling because there is finally someone who is willing to go out with me.
