Jisun pov

"She what?!" My aunt began panicking. "That's impossible! She was supposed to be out next Friday!" I had to tell my aunt. Ambrose tried to calm her down. "It's just a bit of her magic I assume!" "You are right but that means Shar must be her first target. Although a portion of her is out, it can still cause destruction. That means you need to find the documents ASAP, Choi." "I'll come with." Jisung said, leading us to the back of the library. He did what Madam did back in her office; pull a book slightly then opened a door. The door lead us to a concrete staircase. "There isn't much light so I suggest Chaeyoung and Nagyung, use your light magic." Everything became much clearer now.

Nagyung pov

We eventually stopped at the end of the stairs which was a big room the size of the art classroom (yes, it's that big). It looked like a large study room, typical for a secret passage room. "Is there separate scroll for each?" I asked. "Yes, but they haven't been touched for a long time so no one, not even me, can locate it." Jisung answered. "Wait, there's this spell I studied back at home, I think I can somehow find them." I said with hope. I haven't used it in a while but still remember the basics. I began to chant with my eyes beginning to blur from the effects of eye colour magic. "Etacol eht llorcs fo norbtsrif!" I felt the dust and and fragileness of the mysterious scroll, unsure which one it was. I began striding to the left and pulling a book. "A book?" Chaeyoung questioned. A scroll had slipped out of the back, leaving everyone shocked. I picked it up and slightly opened it. "Fire, this is for Seoyeon." I handed it to her while continuing the spell.

This time, I located it to the higher bookshelves, same shelf different direction. "Saerom, you can fly, right?" I asked. "Yeah." "Up on the 7th shelf, I can sense it." She glided toward it searching the shelf and books. "I've found it!" She exclaimed, pulling a large roll of paper. She tossed it down as I read "Earth, Jiheon!". I handed it to her as we continued searching. "You're really good at this, Nagyung!" Jisung said as I blushed. "It's nothing, just a simple easy spell."

We eventually found everyone's scroll then began reading each carefully. "Apparently, Princess Jiyeon from the sixteenth century wrote some of this. She says she was the first, besides the firstborns, to discover and use the extraordinary abilities." Seoyeon said. "Mine says that Prince Hajoon had a special healing ritual when calling for help to the seas." Hayoung says, rolling upon the floor. "I think they were discovered, but it wasn't the first ones who wrote this information, it was ancestors from the early-late ages." I said. "And I thought only the first ones knew. Throughout history, every head mistress of the academy had studied this, but we never got our hands on these scripts." Madam Choi said, confused.

"Dang, being a dream controller basically makes us mind manipulators." Jisun noted to her brother. "I never realised that." He responded. "Healing people is way harder than I thought." Chaeyoung expressed. "Yeah, same. Changing atoms require a lot of focus. Like, you can't think of anything else but the thing you're trying to shape." Jiheon replied, lying next to Chaeyoung. "Madam, do we have permission to take these with us?" Saerom asked. "I believe so, speaking of which, we should probably take our leave." We all stood up and put the scrolls and other sources of information in our satchels and handbags.

Seoyeon pov

We all stood to leave and headed back upstairs to the library. But to our surprise, screams broke out as we took one step in there. "What's happening?" Jisun shouted, running to her aunt. She was lying on the floor, weak and helpless. "S-she's back." She whispered. "Ambrose, what happened?" Jisung said shaking him. "The dark fairy," He spoke scaredly, "She's here, and she almost killed Duchess Jisoo. The sorcerers tried to hold her off, but they got badly injured as well." "Where is she?" Jisung's voice cracked. "We don't kn-" He was interrupted by the sound of hissing. Black smoke had covered the walls, leaving everyone screaming and panicking. "Hello, dear royals and generals of Shar." It was her.

Everyone's worst nightmare had come to life.
