Jiwon pov

Of course they were confused and shocked by my answer. "Jiwon, did you go to heaven then come back to Earth?" Nagyung questioned. "Yes, actually but no." I didn't know if the Dream Sequence was a secret but I knew I had to tell them. "There actually isn't a heaven for fairies..." I said. They all looked confused except for Madam Choi. "Did you perhaps go to the Dream Sequence?" She asked. "Yes." I answered. "I suspect you've met Haewon." I was shocked how she knew but she probably noticed it by saying "Every fairy, when they die, they go through the dream sequence and meet the Lady of Limbo, Haewon."

"What exactly did your mother say?" Choi questioned. "She said she wrote something...but I didn't get to properly hear because I was beginning to regain my consciousness. I remember her telling me how she lost control and almost died from it. That's how powerful it must have been..." Everyone had grown silent upon hearing this. Something I noticed was that Chaeyoung didn't have her usual angry face. "I'm not sure if it's just your ability but it genuinely feels and sounds quite impossible to do any of the abilities." Jiheon noted. "Jiwon, did your mother say anything if it was just related to you or every one of us?" Nagyung asked. "No, but even if it were just for me, I'm sure it would be related to all of us... we're all fairies, so..." "But our abilities are different and require specific techniques." Chaeyoung interrupted. She didn't sound harsh as she usually sounded when it came to me.

"That is correct Chaeyoung, but no matter the differences, they all use the same law: control, intention, emotion and memory." It might be something deeper though. Something way beyond those 4 rules. Magic already is hard to master so these excessive powers could drain the life out of someone (they almost did of course). As much as I didn't want to, I knew we had to start training by the end of today or the beginning of tomorrow.

Jisun pov

First thing in the morning was a noisy ass alarm from the lady with the thick accent whose name was Mistress Yuki. "Wake up, jackasses." She opened the curtains which blinded everyone except Chaeyoung and Nagyung, of course (light fairies, what do I tell you...). "Everyone has practice and you all have to go to your homerooms and go to your assigned practice areas." She marched out the door leaving everyone groaning. "Seoyeon, remember you're with me." Saerom yawned rubbing her eyes. "Don't forget me!" Jiheon exclaimed.

Jiwon looked pretty nervous as I approached her when we were heading to our destination. "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah, but I'm a bit scared about testing our powers on criminals." I couldn't blame her. We were literally going to go a prison where powerful felons were kept. Anything goes wrong, one of them could escape. The problem is, we didn't get to have a proper search for Jiwon's mum's alleged note about the secret power. They've sent guards to get an inspection in Jiwon's house back in Busan but who knows, it might be burnt or thrown away. I'm just mad they didn't trust light fairy and night fairy magic to locate and find the source. Life isn't fair after all.

"We've arrived, girls." I was glad it was just me and Jiwon. It would be less stressful and scary. We walked in slowly meeting a bunch of squids, witches and fairies locked into electric cages. "Now girls..." Miss Song spoke. "Pick a criminal to play with." None of them looked easy or pleasing. Everyone was giving us nasty and sexual stares. I wanted to just choke from seeing the witch with green eyes check me out shamelessly. "I'll go first." I said wanting to just end them all quickly. Of course I had to choose the green eyed witch. I wanted to just curse his entire brain system leaving him going psycho and end up killing himself.

"Hello, beautiful." He smirked. "Did I seduce you by my lovely eyes?" I smirked back at his response. "May I take a turn at seducing you back?" His mischievous smile grew wider. "I'd like to see you try..." I was quite sceptical as it was my first time but I just focused on making him go more insane than he actually is. I tried reciting what I read from the scroll and felt a sudden pang in my head, making me drop on the floor. "Jisun!" Jiwon screamed. "Ha! You've failed, but I'll take you for a night~" The psycho laughed.

Suddenly I felt my eyes grow weak and felt my body rising, feeling strong. It felt, I wasn't controlling myself, someone else was. I shot the psycho a laser and he began going feral. He was screaming so hard I could hear his vocal chords ripping apart. "Ahh!! Don't leave me like this!! AAHH!!!" I could feel every bit of his pain, I could see what he was witnessing but could barely move. It was like my nerves weren't working. His sight was horrendous and made me guilty for him. He soon collapsed on the ground, motionless. My feet had gotten back on the ground and I could finally move properly. I was quite dizzy but relieved the psycho was defeated. "Is he dead?" Jiwon questioned in disgust.

"He is. Good job, Jisun."
