Episode 8 - The smell of enchanting blood.

" What kind of title is that ? Sounds fucking weird." Sanemi mumbled.

" It sounds so eerie. Please do not tell me you fight Muzan and this title is related to that." Kanae said, a little worried.

Tanjiro refuted, " No, I did not. He escaped before I could."

" You should thank god for that." Iguro said.

" Let's cheer up, he said Muzan escaped so maybe it was because he fought a demon or something." Masachika said, optimistically.

As he finished, the screen lit up.

The screen showed a recap of how the last episode ended. After that the screen filled with black, as the title was shown in Kanji. It moved back to the city, and the woman's scream filled everyone's ears. The crowd began murmuring at the sight.

" It is still a little unsettling that Tanjiro has met the Demon Lord." Kanroji said.

" Yeah, I mean a boy my age has encountered the Demon King, Hashiras do not even reach close to." Aoi mumbled.

"What is it? What's wrong," a bystander asked.

"Is that blood," a woman gasped.

" Oh my god, she noticed it." Kanae said.

" Yes, that is. Is she blind ?" Sanemi mumbled, only to be hit by Masachika in the head as he glared at him.

" Stop being so rude, will ya ?" Masachika said, a bit annoyed at Sanemi's nature.

The man moved his head away from his wife for a moment, before growling.

Tanjiro ran towards the new demon and shouted, "Stop! No!"

'What a fucking disgusting strategy.' Sanemi thought.

"How unflashy, turning a person into a demon just to escape," Uzui scoffed.

" I am glad that you chose to save the citizens rather than going after Muzan. Saving people is our utmost priority. Anyone should choose saving people instead of going after anyone, that is even the Demon King." Oyakata said.

Tanjiro smiled as he nodded, " I knew saving people is very important and should be given more importance that is why I tried to stop the demon first."

" Good choice, Young Kamado." Rengoku said.

Muzan slanted his eyes in annoyance as Tanjiro moved to the victim. Tanjiro took off his hood and wrapped it around his hand. He pulled the demon of the woman and stuffed his mouth.

" That is a good way to handle things in public. You can not go using a sword there." Shinobu commented.

" Yeah, especially since th–" Sabito started, only to be cut off by the woman on the screen.

"No! Sweetheart," the woman yelled as she held onto her wound.

"Listen, you need to worry about yourself, ma'am! Cover that wound and apply as much pressure as you can," Tanjiro yelled. He stayed on top of the demon, grabbing his hands as the demon tried to move.

"You're doing a good job navigating the situation Tanjiro," Oyakata smiled.

"Thank you, I'm still frustrated that Kibutsuji got away. I mean, it was a big opportunity. " Tanjiro said.
