*Calum’s POV*

The rest of the boys and I got off the plane, I was looking around the airport, trying to find them when someone I’ve been trying to avoid for the past 6 months had to come back, it had to be her. “Hey Calum” she said waving, walking over to her, “oh um… hi Kate” Kate, as in the reason I broke up with Lucy, as in the one that tried to get me to sleep with her when I was drunk. “How was the tour?” she asked, “yeah it was fun” I said, trying to keep an eye out for Jess. “Look Calum” she started coming really close, “I’m sorry you were drunk when we kissed,” “Kate don’t” I said putting my hand up, trying to get her away. She just grabbed my hand, so I was holding it, “let give us another shot” she whispered before kissing me. I tried to get out of her grip, but she moved her hand to the back of my neck so I couldn’t move. I tried pushing her off but that was when I heard someone shout out my name. “CALUM!” that made Kate jump. Jess. No no no. Not jess.

“I loved you Calum” that was all that was running though my head. After a big speech from Mali about cheating and if I didn’t want to be with her I should’ve just broken up with her I just snapped. “DO YOU THINK THAT I WANTED KATE TO KISS ME? I DIDN’T ASK HER TO KISS ME! I DIDN’T KISS HER! SHE KISSED ME! WHY WOULD I WANT TO CHEAT ON THE GIRL I LOVE?”I yelled at Mali. She pulled over the car and looked at me, “if you want her back you have to fight for her, she’s different Calum. You knew that. Everyone knew that. She’s different because she’s stayed, because you have changed since you met her. It’s not going to be easy, but I’m going to make sure you get her back.” She said and then started driving again, “go to Jess’s house” I said. Mali smiled and nodded her said.

We were at Jess’s house when her mum answered the door. “Hi Calum” she said trying to smile. “Hi Ms. Moor, is Jess home? I really badly need to talk to her” I asked, she shook her head and sighed, “I don’t think now is a good time Calum, if she wants to talk she’ll call you” “please, you don’t understand, she doesn’t understand” I said, tears forming in my eyes. “Maybe try again in a few days Calum, good bye” and with that she closed the fount door. I sighed and walked back to the car, not even looking at Mali.

I was supposed to come home and spend the night with jess. Holding her, making up for the time we didn’t have together. It wasn’t supposed to be like this.

I went back there again the next day, I knew she was home, but she didn’t answer, “I’m going to fight for you” was the last thing I said to her before walking away. And it’s true. I am going to fight.

I couldn’t help myself. I went back there later that day, Beth answered the door. “Calum go home” she started closing the door, I stopped it with my foot, “please can I talk to Jess?” I asked. We continued talking; she still won’t let me talk to her. “I LOVE YOU JESS. YOU’RE PERFECT!” I yelled before walking away. Tears wouldn’t stop coming down my face.

 I quickly whipped my face. I was at home, sitting on my bed. I picked up my phone and called jess, once again she didn’t pick up. So I texted her, “1 phone call, if you hang up then I understand, 1 phone call, you don’t have to say anything, you just have to listen. I love you and you’re perfect. Xoxoxo” I sent it and waited.

A few minutes later I rung her again, she picked up, she didn’t say anything, I could just hear her sniffling. “Jess” I sighed, I can’t believe I did this to her, “Jess I love you, you know that… Kate… it was that… that girl… it was Kate… remember from what I told you?... I promised you it was a mistake and not a habit. The only habit I have is bumping into the wrong people,” wrong time to crack a joke Calum, “she kissed me, I know you won’t believe me, but please, don’t think that I would ever cheat on you, I love you jess, I love you I love you I love you. I need you right now. It’s been 1 day… 1 fucking day!” I started to yell, “I need you back! I need you in my arms! Please! Jess! I love you!” I just heard beeping on the other end of the phone. She doesn’t want anything to do with me.
