Media day and the drivers had all arrived at the Lusail International Circuit. Ollie had travelled with Hannah and George, the three heading to their respective teams garages, Ollie to Haas, Hannah to RedBull and George to his usual team of Mercedes. "What are you doing here?" Max asks when he sees Hannah enter. "Uh, I'm filling in for Checo for the weekend? Were you not informed?" Hannah questions. "Clearly not. Christian, how come I never got a say?" the Dutchman asks the team principal.

"Because I'm the team principal and I get to choose. So, accept that Hannah's your teammate this weekend. I know your not keen on having her on the junior team but she's filling in for Checo this weekend and he'll be back at the next race." Christian reassures the main driver who glares at Hannah before heading to his private room. "Ignore Max. He'll come around, hopefully after this weekend. You know why I've chosen you to fill in, just don't let me down." the older man turns to the young girls. "I promise I won't. I'm taking this opportunity with both hands and make the most of it." the teenager smiles with a slight nod.

"Okay. Well, your in the TV pen this afternoon while Max is in the other side." Christian informs the girl before he heads to his office and she heads to her private room. The blonde Kings Lynn girl relaxes before her media duties, sending messages to Ollie and Arthur.

As much as she loves her best friends, sometimes they weren't much help in curing her boredom. Laying her head back against the back of the sofa, the 19-year-old lets out a deep and long sigh. "Hannah." a knock on the door interrupts her thoughts. "Yeah?" the girl answers, lifting her head up and looking at the door. "Heads up, you're in the TV pen soon." her media officer smiles. "Alright. How long?" Hannah asks as she places her phone down. "Half a hour." the media officer smiles before shutting the door.

When the time comes for her to be in the TV pen, her media officer informs her what to do and how to answer. When she walks in, Hannah sits on the far end and sees as George, Zhou Guanyu, Daniel Ricciardo and Kevin Magnussen walk in. "Look at this, me and you in the TV pen together." George laughs as he sits beside Hannah and hugs her. "This was either planned or it's a coincidence." Hannah laughs as she returns her brothers hug. "Welcome to media kid, ready?" Kevin smiles, sitting beside George. "As ready as I'll ever be." the substitute redbull driver smiles.

"Okay. Welcome to the second part of the TV pen media day. We are joined by Alfa Romeo driver Zhou Guanyu, AlphaTauri driver Daniel Ricciardo, Haas driver Kevin Magnussen, Mercedes driver George Russell and RedBull driver Hannah Russell who is filling in for Sergio Perez this weekend. Guys, welcome. Hannah, let start with you. As I've just mentioned, you're filling in for Perez this weekend, how are you feeling?" the interview starts with the teenager. "Well, I'm both excited and nervous. It's an honor to be asked to drive this weekend but Checo has high standards I've been tasked with to meet but I have belief in myself that I can do it." Hannah smiles, answering the question.

"Now, your going to be on the same track as your brother. How are you both feeling about this?" the interviewer asks both Hannah and George. "Well, I'm excited. Not sure about him. As long as he doesn't try to force me off the track or anything, we'll be fine." Hannah jokes, earning a laugh from everyone. "I would never do anything like that. I'm excited I'm getting to race against my little sister. We may be driving for different teams but off the track and after the race, we settle the differences." George answers after her. "Also, Hannah, we all remember that crash in Spa earlier in the season. How are you after that?" the interviewer reminds the girl who presses her lips together.

"Well, it's been a few months since that incident. I am much better, much stronger and more ready than ever to finish the season on a high. It was a minor set back and I'm not letting it stop me from doing what I love." Hannah smiles lightly. As the interviewer moves along to each driver, those who aren't being interviewed fall into light conversation. "Finally, Hannah, what are you expecting from this weekend and the final F2 race in Abu Dhabi?" the interviewer concludes with the girl. "To start, I hope for some good points this weekend for myself and RedBull. As for the final F2 race in Abu Dhabi, some good points aswell and who knows all the hard work could pay off and I could get on the podium." Hannah grins slightly.

The interview concludes and the 5 drivers all head back to their respective team motorhomes. "You handled that well." George smiles as he and Hannah walk through the paddock. "Yeah. My first media day and it was a success." the teenage blonde smiles. "I can agree." a voice behind the two speaks. The two siblings turns around and sees Ollie catching them up. Hannah grins as she wraps her arms around his neck, the 18-year-old wrapping his around her waist. "You were incredible. I watched from Haas." Ollie smiles, tightly hugging Hannah. "Thanks Ol. Free Pracitce and Qualifying tomorrow. I'm thrown in the deep end immediately." Hannah laughs. "You are. And you get another sprint race." George joins in. "I have more in a season of F2 than you do in a season of F1. This is just standard procedure to me." Hannah saracasitcally comments.

"Whatever you say little sis." George smiles before heading to the Mercedes motorhome. "Want me to walk you to RedBull?" Ollie offers to the girl. "Sure. Come on, I want to get out of this heat." Hannah says with a small laugh as she and Ollie walk back towards RedBull's motorhome, side by side.

The two teenage talents continue to walk through the paddock, occasionally stopping for photos and to sign some stuff. "Here we are." Hannah smiles as she stands on the steps outside. "Yeah. Have you got anything I can borrow to put over this top? Black and heat don't go together." Ollie laughs as does Hannah who nods. "Grab some shade. I'll be back out with one of the hoodies that's actually yours but I stole over the summer." Hannah smiles as disappears insides.

She runs to her private room and grabs Ollie's hoodie before returning it to him. "Here. Like I said I kind of stole it but it is yours." Hannah smiles, handing the teen boy his hoodie back. "Been wondering when you were returning this. I noticed it was missing and knew you stole it but wasn't sure when I was getting it back." Ollie laughs as he takes his hoodie from her. As he does, their hands brush and the pair look at each other, their eyes locking.

Hannah could feel her heart rate rising and the heat rushing to her cheeks. Thankfully she was wearing makeup so Ollie couldn't see she was blushing like an idiot. "I, umm, I better head inside." Hannah stutters. "Yeah. Before you go, do you maybe want to go out for a meal?" Ollie asks as he turns back to the girl. "Sure. Pick me up from my room?" the girl questions. "Yeah. So, 7?" Ollie asks. "Perfect. See you then." Hannah smiles before disappearing.
