Following the pre-season tests and training, the Bahrain Grand Prix arrived and as she got ready in her hotel room, Hannah hears a knock on her door. "Han, open up!" the voice from the other side calls from the other side. Hannah smiles as she opens the door to her brother. "Morning to you too, George. No need to demand me to open the door when I'm trying to get ready for my first weekend in F2." Hannah chuckles, stepping aside to let her older brother in.

Despite the 6 year age difference between them, the two were fairly close. Probably due to the fact they persued a career in motorsport while their siblings went to university. "So. What can I do for you?" Hannah asks as she sits back down. "How about breakfast?" George suggests to her. "Sure. I'm starving. Let me grab me phone and we can head down." Hannah smiles, standing up again and walking over to the bedside table and unplugging her phone from its charging cabel. "Lets go. I need food." Hannah smiles, grabbing her key card and leaving her room, followed by George.

"Well if it isn't double trouble." Williams driver and George's best friend, Alex Albon laughs as he sees the two enter the hotel restaurant for breakfast. "Says you. You and him are double trouble, especially considering you come as a 'package deal'." Hannah laughs as she stands by his table. "Come on. Me and George as a package deal isn't that bad." Alex grins. "You're right. It's horrific." Hannah smiles before walking away and grabbing a plate so she could get something to eat.

While George sits with Alex, Hannah joine Ollie and Arthur. "Hey teammate, Ollie." the girl smiles as she sits down. "Morning. Someone's chirpy this morning." Arthur laughs. "Well considering I had my brother bang on my door and I now have food. I'm happy." Hannah smiles. "Well, first race of the season. How are you feeling ahead of our first season in F2 together, Han?" Ollie asks her. "I'm excited, no doubt. Racing on the same tracks and street circuits as George. Getting to terrorise him each weekend." Hannah giggles. "I get to terrorise Charles too. Looks like our brothers have to deal with us, especially since we're teammates." Arthur comments as Ollie rolls his eyes at the two drivers.

"How are you guys getting to the track?" the Prema driver asks the two DAMS drivers. "I'm going with Charles and Carlos." Arthur says with a shrug. "I have no way of getting there so I'm probably getting an uber because my brother has decided to give his best friend a ride to the track." Hannah says with a sigh. "What about I give you a lift? It's save you money of getting an uber to and from the track all weekend." Ollie suggests.

"Really?" Hannah questions nonchalantly. "Yeah. Plus, Arthur, you can join us to avoid the Charlos bromance." Ollie laughs. "Carpool karaoke all weekend?" Arthur suggests. "Sure. Like old times." the prema driver smiles. The trio enjoy their breakfast and light-hearted conversation amongst the buzz about the F1 and F2 seasons starting. "Right, we have 30 minutes before we have to leave to head to the track. Meet in the lobby?" Ollie suggests as he takes all three plates while standing up.

"Sure. Meet you losers then." Hannah grins before heading back to her room. The 19-year-old girl grabs the last few things that she needs to take to the track with her. As the time to head back to the Bahrain circuit nears, the excitement in her fills her heart and gut. "Ready guys?" Ollie speaks as he joins the two DAMS drivers in the lobby. The Monegasque boy and British girl nod before the three F2 rookies head out of their hotel and make their way to the track.

"If you said I would have given you a lift." George laughs as he sees Hannah arrive with Ollie and Arthur. "And be stuck in a car with you and Alex. Pass." the girl jokes to her older brother. "What? Like you said this morning, we come as a package deal." Alex grins. "Well, so do me, Arthur and Ollie. But, we're more iconic than you two." the younger Russell smiles before following her two fellow Formula 2 drivers into the paddock.

As she walks through, screaming fans calling her name fill her eardrums. Being the considerately polite girl she is, Hannah signs some merch and gets some photos as she makes her way to her teams garage. "Hey Han. Ready?" Eliott smiles as he sees her enter the garage. "Always." Hannah smiles. With a quick team meeting, the girl prepares for her free practice session.

However, the session didn't go as she wanted it to. "Bullshit! What the fuck happened!" Hannah questions as she got out of her car before storming to her drivers room. Eliott tries to follow her but Arthur stops him. "Don't. Let her cool down otherwise she won't be prepared for quali." the Monegasque says, his hand on the girls personal trainer's chest. "Alright." Eliott nods before heading back over to the back of the girls garage.

Qualifying wasn't as good either with Hannah qualifying P16 while Arthur qualified P5. "What's wrong with my car? How can I qualify towards the back while Arthur's towards the front? It doesn't make sense." the girl asks, now in her brother's drivers room as she laid on the sofa. "I know it doesn't seem fair Hannah. But as the season goes on, it'll get better." George sympathizes with her as he prepares for his two free practice sessions. "G, you know the F2 seasons is only 14 race weekends long. What if nothing to my car improves?" Hannah frowns as she leans on her elbows.

"Look, you know I had the worst car in F2 when I won the championship in 2018. And who was always there when I doubted myself?" George says as he lifts the girls legs up. "Me." Hannah says quietly. "Exactly. So, I'm here for you this season and it'll be okay." George reassures his little sister who smiles and nods. "Come on. You can watch my race in my garage." George smiles, pulling his sister off the sofa and tightly hugging her. "You've got this, Han. I'm so proud of you. Yes, I'm annoyed you joined RedBull but you're in F2." George smiles, his arms around her shoulders as hers are tightly around his waist.

The girl keeps her arms tightly around her brother's waist as she nestled her head into his chest. "Lets go, come on." George smiles, ruffling Hannah's hair as he lets go of the hug. "Hey! No need." the F2 girl playfully frowns. "All the need darling sister." the Mercedes driver grins. The two siblings walk out his drivers room and head to George's side of the garage. "Go rock it big bro." Hannah smiles as she hugs George once his helmet is on.

Hannah watches as George does his two practice session before heading back to her hotel with Arthur and Ollie. For the whole ride, she was quiet. The two boys knew exactly what was bothering her but didn't dare speak about it. When they arrived back, Hannah heads up to her room straight away. As she's sat on her bed, the girl hears her phone ringing and sees her mum calling her.

"Hey mama." Hannah smiles as she answers the phone. "Hey Han. How was your day?" Alison asks as her youngest answers the phone. "I can't lie. It was horrible. I just don't know what happened today." the F2 driver sighs as she lays back on the bed. "Sweetheart, listen to me. Don't be disheartened after today. Tomorrow will be better okay. Sunday is yet to be seen. But, think about tomorrow and smash it. We'll all be watching." Alison says, reassuring the young girl. "Okay. I just worked so hard to get here. I don't want to blow it in my first season." Hannah says with a small sigh. "And you'll do it. I know how bad you want to be in F1. Just prove this season you deserve another year in F2 after this one." Alison says.

The mother and daughter talk some mote before they both hang up and Hannah has something to eat from the food that was in her room before she decided to call it a night and go to sleep.
