I run around my house that I am about to put on the market watching everyone put their backs into decorating. I race down the stairs to the first floor with my hair in a ponytail and my keys in my hand. I look around the house watching Adam and Luca help replace lamps with giant disco balls. "This looks great guys, have you guys seen Jack?" I ask, patting Adam on the back as he descends from the ladder.

"Babe!" I hear Jack calling for me, coming inside after blowing up some pool floats. Adam and Luca turn over their shoulders looking at Jack as he walks in, jerking their heads in his direction. I stay put by the front door waiting for him to approach me so we can go to the grocery store. He takes his hat off and flips it before leaning in to kiss me.

Perfection. Absolute perfection.

We disconnect from one another and smile at each other, putting my hand on his back before shouting, "I'm leaving! If there is anything else you need just text me!" so everyone in the house can hear me. I wait for a response from more than one person and leave the house after begging them to not set anything on fire at least until I get back and hop inside my car.

I let Jack drive since he probably knows these streets better than I do and use this time to look through the shared notes app I created. I check off the items we've already purchased leaving us to buy appetizers, sodas, and alcohol. I click out of the notes app and look through my personal email to make sure the caterers will be in my home at least five minutes before the party starts.

"Alright, things are looking good." I pat my pale thighs which have been begging for some sun. Jack turns into the local grocery store parking lot and parks relatively close to the entrance. I get out of the car, whipping out a small camera that I'll be using to vlog throughout the night. After we walk through the automatic doors I start talking to the camera.

Jack chuckles, pushing the shopping cart toward the aisles we need to go to. "I'm with my boyfriend and we're just grabbing some of tonight's essentials." I say, looking over at Jack who is grinning sheepishly his cheeks turning into a light shade of pink. We make our way to our first order of business and stand in front of all kinds of condoms and toys before grabbing multiple cases of protection.

After I dump everything inside we head to the soda aisle where I record Jack picking up multiple cases of soda his muscles flexing each time he picks them up and drops them into the cart. I don't move a centimeter to help and instead wait for him to push the cart to the chips, grabbing almost every kind possible since each boy wanted something different.

"Wait J, how about-" Jack starts before cutting himself off to stare at a group of teenage girls staring at us. I internally match the look on his face feeling my stomach churn at the way we've been caught red-handed. A cart full of soda and condoms, lovely! They approach us stumbling over their words as they take us in. "H-hi, oh my god." The girls greet the both of us, giving me a big hug before wrapping their arms around Jack in a side hug.

He drops the nervous look on his face and attempts to smile at them even if I know it's not a completely genuine smile. "What are you guys doing in Michigan?" She asks, looking at us to see who will come up with a response faster before narrowing their eyes on our 'essentials' for the night. I decide to tell the truth and say, "I'm throwing a huge party and I forced him to come with me since he knows the guests better than I do." I laugh, watching their eyes widen at the idea of Jack's friends being present at my party.

One of the girls snaps her head over to look at my boyfriend and asks if his girlfriend we be at my party. My stomach twists at the fact that they still believe some random girl is his girlfriend and not me. I turn my head and tilt it to the side watching Jack blush before pushing his lips to the side. "Y-yeah she'll be there if that's still okay with Josie." he says.
