I wake up to an empty bed well not completely empty. Instead of her warm body, there's a note on the pillow where Josie rested her head last night. I pluck it off the fabric with my thumb and pointer, smiling at her handwriting.

"Had to rehearse before getting ready, see you soon! Get ready for Coachella to take your Josie concert virginity! ;)"

I chuckle at the sticky note, tucking it away into the back of my phone case before heading downstairs to join everyone else for breakfast. Despite just waking up my jitters for Josie have completely woken me up. "Good Morning" I call out to everyone, grabbing some breakfast that Quinn made from the kitchen before sitting down.

As I sit down I listen to them talk about how excited they are to go to Coachella since for all of us excluding Meredith and Theo this is our first time. I remain quiet as I reach for some orange juice, following along with the conversation that flows in between all of my friends and family. "Jack? Any questions, comments, concerns?" Mere teases me from across the table.

Her words led everyone to lay their eyes on me, taking in the worry scribbled all over my features. I shake my head no even though it's clear how I feel. I definitely have my comments and concerns but it's just me worrying for her. I do not doubt in my mind Josie will own the stage I am just nervous.

Quickly after answering Mere takes the attention off of me to start giving us some advice, mostly tips about drinking. "I say one or two drinks if not sober for Josie's set, after knock yourselves out." She orders, getting up from the table to grab an armful of water bottles from the island in the kitchen. She passes them out and urges us to begin hydrating ourselves.

Mere pushes the plastic bottle into Quinn's chest and without an argument, he twists the cap and starts chugging it. I follow suit the minute Mere presses a plastic bottle into my chest. After drinking to the halfway mark I switch to orange juice, taking sips of my water in between while I eat breakfast.

Once I finish my breakfast I open my phone just to text Josie, typing out some encouraging words before putting my phone back in my pocket. I drop my dish into the dishwasher before moving to my room to start getting dressed for the festival. I gave Josie full control of my outfit since she has good style and has been to more festivals than me.

She knows what would look good and I want to look good for her. My outfit for tonight consists of some jean shorts, my Golden Goose shoes since they have stars on them, and a tank under what looked like a crochet swimsuit coverup. At first, Josie told me to go with no shirt under the crochet top but once we found the perfect tank we decided to go with a shirt.

No one in the house has seen my shirt and they won't since Josie wanted this to be a surprise for a part of her set. So until 'Nonsense' comes on my crocheted top will stay on, because I stand on business— Josie's word.

Once my outfit is on I walk over to Mere and Quinn's room, knocking and waiting for a response before entering. "Hey, does this look good?" I hold my arms out and spin slowly. Mere looks over her shoulder as she brushes on some extra glitter on her eyes. "Mmm, yes but grab that belt on my bed and let it hang a little loosely on your hips." She says, giving me some advice.

I hold up the belt she's talking about and loop it through my belt hoops before asking if I'm doing what she meant. Once I gain her approval I turn to walk out when she stops me, looking up at me from her place on the floor. "Do you have any tank tops with no words? That one looks a little weird." She says but I don't say anything back, giving her a smirk with two thumbs up.

"What are you two planning?" She shouts as I walk out and close the door behind me, waiting for everyone else to be done. I smile on the way down watching as Trevor joins me downstairs once he's tied a bandana around his neck. "You ready for this? Now everyone knows you're dating." He says, slumping into the cushions beside me.
