My girlfriend is about to leave home for her tour after touring with Taylor. She hasn't been home long, but I'm trying my absolute hardest to appreciate the time we have left together. She's here, and that's what matters. I try to remind myself as I look at her suitcases, which are parked by the front door of my penthouse.

"Do you have everything?" I ask as I iron Luke's button-up for his first game tonight. Josie hums out her response, promising me that she has everything when deep down I just wish she'd forget something so I can go to whatever city she's in to drop it off for her. I'm considering taking something out, but I know not having whatever I'm contemplating taking out will stress her out.

Besides, I wouldn't actually do that.

I look up from my hard work and watch as she goes through my closet to find something to pair with the clothes she has draped over her arm. "I have a black leather skirt and my boots." She starts before remembering that she has a drawer of clothes in my room. "And maybe I can do this corset top." She smiles, laying it out on my white comforter to see how it looks.

She bites her thumbnail as she envisions it before holding up a finger and returning to my closet. Josie looks through my jackets and finds the one I let her borrow at her first game with my family. "I need to borrow this." She says, putting it on the bed with another massive smile. Before picking it up from my bed to change into, she looks at the expression on my face, trying to see if I'll be upset, but I've let her wear this before why, so would she think I wouldn't want it on her now?

"What's mine is yours, sweetheart. Go ahead." I tell her, calling Luke's name so he can take the shirt off of my hands. Once my shirtless little brother takes his shirt and closes the door behind him, I move closer toward Josie and kiss her temple, watching her pretty hazel eyes close contently before she starts dropping her clothes to the floor.

My eyes pop out of their sockets at the sight of the beautiful body I've seen multiple times. "Geez, Josephine. Try and keep your clothes on when I'm around. It was just a kiss." I tease her as I shrug on my button-up for tonight, not even trying to dodge her hand as it smacks against my arm.

"I'm going to miss you, jerk." She chuckles sadly, scrunching her nose to mask the frown her lips desperately want to break into. "Don't be sad, baby. I'll call and text you all the time it'll be like I'm right there with you." She nods her head, shuffling into my open arms to hug me as tightly as possible before pulling her head back to kiss me.

My hands drop from the small of her back to her butt and softly pat to let her know that I have to hurry since I have to be at Prudential way earlier than her and Theo. She pulls back and tugs on her tiny black skirt before yanking her black Doc Martens-on. Once the first layer of her outfit is on, she grabs my cologne and sprays her pulse points.

I smile and pull off her thumb ring to put on my pinky. "I'm keeping this until you're back." I tell her before hearing the loud booming voice coming from her younger brother. "Hear ye, hear ye, Theodore of house Lee is in the Hughes residence!" Almost immediately, Josephine sighed, shaking her head at the way Theo chose to enter the penthouse today.

"My dear sister, please hurry the fuck up because I am hungry." He adds, which causes Josie to roll her eyes. She shrugs on my jacket, grabbing her purse before standing in front of me. "I'll see you after. I lo- I hope this is a good first game back." she says, smiling sadly before Theo drags her off to go get dinner.

Maybe Theo isn't cut out for the National Hockey League, but he sure would like the Never Hungry League.

"We got to get going too." Luke says, checking his watch, which was just gifted to him by our Dad. I nod my head, already feeling the weight of the loss of my girlfriend's presence. "We can't both be sad. Let's be happy today is our first game playing on the same team." Luke says, jerking his head toward the front door.
