The Nevada sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the streets of Las Vegas as Zack stood before the familiar Airbnb, the memories of four years ago haunting his mind. With determination burning in his chest, he pushed open the door and stepped inside, the scent of the past lingering in the air.
"Mr. Johnson, thank you for meeting me," Zack greeted the Airbnb owner, his voice tinged with urgency.
"Of course, Mr. Goldsmith. Let's get to the bottom of this," Mr. Johnson replied, leading Zack to the surveillance room.
They huddled over the CCTV footage, scrutinizing every frame with intensity. Zack's heart raced as they reached Olivia and Zack's bedroom, the scene of Nicole's betrayal unfolding before their eyes.
"Pause there," Zack instructed, his voice tight with emotion. "That's her. That's Nicole."
Mr. Johnson nodded, his brow furrowing in concern. "She's carrying a camera. What is she doing here?"
Zack's jaw clenched as he watched Nicole's movements, his mind racing with a mix of anger and disbelief.
"We need to see what she recorded," Zack declared, his voice firm with resolve.
