The afternoon sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow over Olivia's living room. She watched Zivia, her almost four-year-old daughter, chattering away about her first day of preschool. It was a non-stop stream of excitement and new experiences.

"And then, Mommy, we played with blocks! And I made a big tower! And Miss Rajeshree said it was the biggest one she's ever seen!" Zivia exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy.

"That's amazing, sweetie," Olivia said, smiling as she brushed a strand of hair from Zivia's face. "I'm so proud of you."

Zivia continued to recount her day as Olivia bathed her and got her ready for bed. Olivia loved hearing about every detail, cherishing these moments. Finally, after reading Zivia her favorite bedtime story and tucking her in, Zivia's eyes began to droop.

"Goodnight, my love," Olivia whispered, kissing Zivia's forehead. "Sweet dreams."

Zivia mumbled a sleepy "Goodnight, Mommy," before drifting off to sleep.

Olivia quietly left the room, closing the door softly behind her. She was heading to her bedroom when her phone buzzed. She picked it up and saw a text from Zack.

**Zack:** We need to talk.

**Olivia:** Now??!!

**Zack:** Yes, now. Ols...

Olivia's heart skipped a beat. "Ols" was the nickname Zack had given her during their time together. Seeing it again brought back a flood of memories and emotions.

**Olivia:** Yeah, uh... Okay... Where do you want to meet?

**Zack:** Meet me at the Starbucks on Prince Haltins Street.

**Olivia:** Okay, reaching there in fifteen minutes.

**Zack:** Waiting for you, Ols.

Olivia quickly put on a coordinated set of comfortable but stylish clothes. She explained to Eloise that she had some urgent work and that Zivia was asleep. Eloise nodded, understanding.

"Take care, dear," Eloise said. "I'll keep an eye on Zivia."

"Thanks, Mom," Olivia replied, heading out the door.

**Starbucks on Prince Haltins Street**

Olivia parked her car and walked towards the Starbucks. Her heart was pounding, a mixture of anxiety and anticipation. As she entered, she saw Zack sitting at a corner table. He was dressed in all black, his shirt sleeves rolled up, revealing his muscular arms and evident veins. His presence was magnetic, and she noticed many women glancing his way. But Zack's eyes were only on her.

Olivia felt a small surge of happiness seeing his focus solely on her. She walked over, and they hugged briefly, an awkward but comforting gesture.

"Hi, Zack," she said softly, taking a seat.

"Hi, Ols," he replied, his eyes searching hers. "Thanks for coming."

"What's this about, Zack?" Olivia asked, her curiosity and anxiety intertwining.

Zack took a deep breath. "It's about what happened to us, Ols. The truth behind our divorce."

Olivia's heart raced. "Go on," she urged.

Zack began, his voice steady but filled with emotion. "It was all a setup, Olivia. My aunt and your best friend Nicole orchestrated everything. They drugged me and made it look like I was cheating on you. They wanted to tear us apart."

Olivia's eyes widened in shock. "What? How do you know this?"

"A few months ago, I found out the truth," Zack explained. "I got my hands on evidence that proved their involvement. I confronted them, and they admitted it. I've sent them to jail."

Olivia's mind was reeling. She felt a mixture of anger and betrayal. "Why didn't you tell me sooner, Zack? Why did you keep this from me?"

Zack looked down, guilt evident on his face. "I didn't think it was important. I didn't want to bring up old wounds."

"Not important?" Olivia's voice rose, filled with anger. "How the fuck can you say that, Zack? Those bitches destroyed our happy three years of marriage! We lost our daughter Amanda because of them, and you say it's not important?"

Zack's face contorted with pain. "Olivia, I'm sorry. I was trying to protect you."

"Protect me?" Olivia scoffed. "I hated you for so many years, Zack. I hid our daughter from you because of this. Do you understand how much pain I've been through?"

Zack reached out, but Olivia pulled away. "I'm sorry, Zack. I need to think." She backed away from the table, her emotions overwhelming her.

"Ols, wait!" Zack called after her, but seeing her distress, he let her go, knowing she needed space.

As Olivia walked out of the Starbucks, her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. She had never felt so conflicted in her life. Unbeknownst to them, someone was listening to their entire conversation covertly, hiding in the shadows, plotting their next move.

**Later that Night**

Olivia returned home, her mind still racing. She climbed into bed, feeling the weight of the revelations pressing down on her. Her heart ached with the knowledge of the betrayal and the years lost. But amid the pain, a small part of her felt relieved. The truth, painful as it was, had finally come to light.

As she drifted off to sleep, her thoughts turned to Zack. Despite everything, she couldn't deny the love she still felt for him. The night's events had reopened old wounds but also reignited a spark of hope.

Tomorrow, they would need to face the aftermath of their conversation. For now, Olivia allowed herself to rest, knowing that whatever happened next, she was no longer in the dark. She would protect her daughter and herself, but perhaps, just perhaps, there was a chance for healing and redemption.

And somewhere in the shadows, their observer plotted, the gears of a new scheme already turning, ready to bring even more chaos into their lives.
