A new ally and a missing leader

(Y/n) POV

Ruby was on watch while I laid down in my sleeping bag to try and sleep but to no avail, I couldn't sleep I noticed Ruby wasn't paying attention to us and everyone else was asleep so I decided to go out for a bit I grab my sword placing it on my back and left the area we were in and decided to take a look around mountain Glenn as I was wondering around I couldn't find a single Grimm which was odd to me but after a couple of hours of walking I started to hear what sounded like whimpering so I went running to the source of the sound and found a small puppy surrounded by alpha creeps

I rushed in taking one of the Grimm by surprise with a fireball to the back sending the alpha creep crashing into the others I ran in and grabbed the puppy in one arm holding my sword out to fight off the Grimm I set my sword on fire and thrust it into the ground "scorched earth!" The area around me and the grim turned to brimstone as pillars of fire erupted from the ground engulfing the creeps Once the flames died down only one creep remained as the ground returned to normal "Come get some" the creep fell for the taunt rushing me as I jumped over the screen slashing it back then as I landed behind the creep I slashed it in the back of the leg making it fall as it fell I walked back in front of it and cut off its head as it faded into nothingness I set the puppy down and waited for it to run off but it never did it kept following me no I decided to keep him but he needed a name i thought about it for a little bit "imma call you torgal!" The puppy barked seemingly liking the name eventually me and torgal started to make our way back to the place where we were taking refuge as I went to sit down back in my bag with Torgal I noticed a certain cookie goblin missing "Where is Ruby?" I looked around and noticed Zwei wasn't there either... I didn't like this me and torgal woke everyone up with various complaints I asked the major question "Anyone seen Ruby and Zwei?" Everyone looked around in a panic at the missing leader as I heard barking and it wasn't torgal "Zwei?" Yang asked as Zwei went running right to her while Blake sat up looking around "What's going on?" Oobleck came from around the corner "Everyone grab your weapons your leader may be In Trouble" Everyone got their weapons as Oobleck noticed a newcomer "Where did that puppy come from?" Dante looked at me as did Blake "I found him I couldn't sleep so I went out on my own and saw this little guy surrounded by creeps and saved him he kept following me so I decided to keep him I named him torgal!" On cue torgal barks as Zwei sniffs him "But that's not important let go find my rose" I say as I look to Zwei "Can you find her" Zwei runs out of the building all of us following him torgal included

Dante pov

We followed Zwei and torgal eventually seeing a red object in the distance "Ruby's scythe!" Yang yelled we all thought the worst "Oh no" Blake said  Weiss walked up to the hole and looked down it "Do you think she fell?" Me and Oobleck ran up to the hole "Fell?" Weiss looks at the whole "down there" She looks at the hole "I don't know why..." oobleck started but then came to a realization "Of course. Of course! OF COURSE!" I look confused "What is it?" Oobleck starts pacing "How could I be so stupid this place teaming with Grim used to be home to thousands of people! Working people moving to the city!" Oobleck was ranting as I cut him off "Not to burst your bubble Doctor Oobleck but (Y/n) jumped...." Oobleck turned around concerned noticing (Y/n) and torgal missing "HE JUMPED?! Well to cut this short we are not looking for an underground crime network but an UNDERGROUND crime network the southeast quadrant is known for its large caves and after some unfortunate accidents we are standing over the largest underground tomb if Ruby is down there and (Y/n) and his dog followed...we must find them" he said as he turned his thermos into a weapon looking like some kind of bat
