The young and the handless

(Y/n) pov

It's been a few days since we have been training with Oscar and Ozpin to get better with our hand-to-hand capabilities as me and ruby are out and about in the outskirts of Mistral just cleaning up some Grimm to pass the time sitting inside all day was just boring we had just finished cleaning up some Grimm a bunch of oddly clothed people surrounded me and Ruby making us reach for our weapons as the men around us drew their sword.

"Alright then...let's do this," I say as I rush one of the guys who went swinging his sword for my head I duck under it and slash his chest then kick him in the back making him crash into one of his allies who tried to sneak up behind me as I jump into the air "GIVE ME THUNDER!" I yell as purple electricity forms around my arm as I punch the ground making a small shockwave of purple electricity and taking out some of the guys that surrounded us I look over to Ruby and see her handling the enemies on her side effortlessly I make a staff appear in my hand "is that thunder I hear!" I say throwing the staff above the remaining enemies on my side making thunderbolts rain down on them as the staff vanishes.

I hear Ruby yelp as I turn around "Ruby!" I yell as I see a bald  guy who was kind of buff as he had Ruby by her arms with them held behind her back "let her go!" I said with venom in my voice as I pointed my sword at him as the guy laughs "not a chance...she seems like she means a lot to you....which means I can do to you what you have done to me.." I make flames swirl in my hand ready to throw a fire ball as he holds Ruby in-Front of him as Ruby squirms and whimpers against his grasp. I grit my teeth making the flames vanish as I stand down as the men from earlier pin me down restraining me and taking me with Hugo as they lead us to some weird area.

The guards throw me and Ruby to the ground as we land on our lands and knees, thankfully they weren't smart enough to take our scrolls so as they were escorting us I was able to send my location to Dante hoping he knows what to do with the information sent to him as I sent it more of the oddly dressed men approached as one of them carried out a huge tree stump then slammed it on the ground as a guy way bigger then the rest clad in armor with a black cloth around his head with eye slits cut out in in walked in with a huge axe on his shoulder as the grunts moved out of the way as the guy from earlier was no where to be seen.

Meanwhile....back with the others

Dante (pov)

As I lounged on the couch, engaged in conversation with the group, my attention was mainly focused on Oscar. We delved into a discussion about how his life had been transformed since his soul had become intertwined with Ozpin's. He chuckled as he shared, "At first, I genuinely believed I was losing my mind when I heard his voice in my head for the first time. However, I gradually grew accustomed to his presence, though I was initially hesitant to engage with him. Over time, I embraced the idea of contributing to the betterment of the world, thanks to his persuasive influence." I nodded in agreement, remarking, "I can empathize with that. If a voice suddenly began speaking to me in my head, claiming it was my responsibility to save the world after spending my entire life working on a farm, I'd also question my sanity. I understand where you're coming from." I smiled at him, expressing my understanding of his perspective.

As I glanced at my scroll, a wave of confusion washed over me. "What the heck?" I muttered, drawing the attention of Summer and Oscar. "Is something the matter?" Summer inquired, and I shook my head. "Not really, just got a distress message from (Y/n) with his location and a 'help' plea," I explained, tilting my scroll so Summer could see. Her expression hardened as she muttered, "Kupka." Perplexed, I raised an eyebrow and asked, "Who?" Without hesitation, Summer stood up and urged, "Come on, I think Ruby was with him. I'll explain on the way." We swiftly armed ourselves and dashed out the door toward the location (Y/n) had shared via his scroll. Along the way, Summer filled me in on the situation. "Hugo Kupka is a formidable figure who does as he pleases. He's the dominant of Titan, capable of moving Vale halfway across the world if he so desires."
