"Ellie!" I grinned as I saw the slow walk towards me, hand curling around her own hair.

"Did you cast a spell on the bakery to ensure that no one comes in?" As I said it, a thud had followed. The cashier's head fell off her knuckles and raised with a jerk.

"Who in this fucking-" The moment her eyes landed on Ginni, she stared stunned. Ginni is quite the beauty and had already taken a seat on the counter where I stood, the employee had turned to her and back to me serval times, talking with her eyes.

I chucked, bringing my hand towards Ginni to introduce them to one another, "This is Ginni, Ginni Wu, one of my bestest friends." I smiled as the flow of our memories passed by my mind. Ginni didn't look so pleased, scoffing she rested her hands around her arms, rolling her eyes.

"One of your bestest? Girlfriend, I'm your only best." She winked at me, wiggling her eyebrows. My palm shoved her away by the face; she cried about her makeup being ruined.

"Dearest, you've already ruined your character the moment you acted nonsense." I shook my head, the employee still stunned, standing in the same place. Ginni was talking really loud then, protesting and trying to argue. I sighed, but it seemed the other girl wasn't rushing; she was trying to stay composed and confident. Just the moment I readied to introduce her, she did so herself.

"Uh, hi!" A new voice caught Ginni's attention. She looked to the girl, who was looking down at her own fidgeting hands.

"Why, hello, pretty voice." The girl looked at Ginni, surprised. She blushed and seemed to have forgotten her own name, making Ginni laugh. The girl smiled, possibly for making Ginni laugh.

"And what's your name? I mean, I don't mind calling you pretty voice but I'm sure you've got a pretty name of your own?" Poor girls' cheeks has gone so red, I slapped Ginni's arm, she whines about the pain but I told her to stop making her so shy...She'll explore from embarrassment!

"Uh, it's fine..." Barely looking up but she still talked, this is the same girl who was bored just minutes ago and is usually the loudest with her sighs...? Now I'm stunned, but a smile appeared on my own face from watching these two.

"My name's Avla Roche...You can call me-" Her lips were thinned into her mouth, her gaze all over the place, trying not to catch Ginni's.

"You can call me whatever you want." I know she mentally thanked whoever and whatever the moment the door rang and a customer came in. She must've tried to say 'pretty voice' or go around it, coming up with something else to say. Ginni laughed quietly at how adorable she came off.

"You even got my employee stuck on you, this is business Gin." I shoved her by the shoulder gently and she grasp onto me like it was life or death situation. She won't die, her long legs has her clothed toe tip of her shoe kissing the floor, her still sat on my counter before I eventually had to get her off. I have work to do.

"Tch, you can't complain about genetic. I'm just too pretty." She's now leaning back with her shoulder against a wall, looking as gorgeous as ever.

From the side of my eye, I see Avla nodding her head along. She was already done talking to the customer then, meaning she was agreeing with Ginni. Oh goodness! Isn't this just such an adorable behavior? I never understood in the beginning, Avla was always pissed about guys jumping at her and would trash love letters when they were given to or for her. Now she favors Ginni? What a nice surprise.

"Tootles dear, work hard Avla!" Ginni wriggle her fingers at me, just before she left, greeting goodbyes to Avla just after. The door clicked closed and now we're left with the same quietness. Alva 's looking at me, her eyes and expressions telling me everything I need to know, making me let out a laugh unconsciously.

She was startled by the sudden laughter, getting upset that same second, I had to urgently apologize.

"But, I can't give you her number..." One of my eye winked close, staying closed, my head dipping to the left. Alva made a sad expression, she's surely to hate me, huh?

"She'll come here next week-" My finger stood in front of Alva's face, fingernail arrowing up, when I just came up with an idea.

"You can ask for her number then, you made her laugh, there's no doubt she won't give it to you." I stepped back and crossed my arms against my chest, sighing in relief to finally lean on something.

Alva humped and asked why couldn't I just give it to her instead, it's not like they're total strangers now. This made me smile. I shook my head.

"She doesn't quite enjoy people contacting her if she didn't so give it to them herself. Ah, I do remember, so well too." Remembering a memory, I let go of my arms and hopped onto the counter I was leaning against.

"We had bought our apartment and were picked as roommates, I saw her number on the file and contacted her to say whats up and you know, get to know her. Ugh, the headache I received just from that incident!" I scoffed, two fingers pressed in-between my eyebrows as I sighed. Alva looked curious, so I looked up at her, smirking.

"When she picked up the phone, I introduced myself; told her who I was, only to be told she's known about me since the beginning! Even after we both officially had signed the contract for the apartment, she did not interact with me for TWO months! Even all the while living together, organizing and decorating our apartment. Just because I had her number without her permission!" My face showed a sour expression at the memory but it changed when I saw Alva enjoying the story, haha!

"We made up after that, I for sure am telling you, she will with no doubt ignore you to the end of the world. if you knew about this fact and still contacted her, this is the consequence." I finished the story, brushing my long brown hair out of the way before leaning back once more.

"How did she know you knew then? You contacted her from the files number." Alva asked curiously.

"The landlord told me about her hatred for getting her number without permission, and seems to be good friends with Ginni so she had let her know that the words were passed."

"What if they lie and didn't tell the other party?" Alva was getting really interested in all this, maybe because it's all about Ginni.

"She'd know. That's why she doesn't like anyone, anyone calling her unless she gave permission and gave them the number herself." I shook my head, she'll really know.

"We're done!" A voice come from elsewhere. The employee's kitchen?

Just then, at the same time, the door opens with the ringing of the bell above the door. Another customer came, looking rather expensive.

All eyes are on him now.
