A New Side Of You

Hehehe... he... eh.

Keep calm... don't become a maniac of giggles...

Hehe... eh... hehe...

My heart is beating so fast right now. Within minutes of this quietness, baby daddy's baby had fallen asleep the next second I had turned to look at him.

He looks so calm and collected—actually, scratch that. He looks really exhausted, with eye bugs and everything.

I looked down at Esden. The baby boy is sleeping well now that he's all fed. I rocked him for a bit to check how the alarm would react, and when I was assured he was just fine, I got off the bed softly enough not to alert the baby daddy's baby.

Small steps to the curb, I put Esden down gently and slid the blanket just below his waist, not too close or too high, so he doesn't end up choking himself around it.

"Oh shi..!" Upon remembering to get back to Ginni, I ran back to the guest room I woke up in, as fast and quietly as I could, across all ground and walls until I made it back.

It took a long while, going around walls and whatnot, but I made it in time...Wooo!

When I got back in the room I woke up in, I looked for my phone before calling Ginni.

It took some convincing and pleas before I hung up.

She was worried when she realized I had not gone back and was nowhere to be found, but in the end, it had half settled down.

We agreed to reroute the conversation when I went back home. I just told her some nonsense that she won't believe in. However, I do need to think about what to do from here on...

After standing around for a bit and zoning out, I thought it would be better to get out of the room and roam around.

Considering the trouble occurring when I had woken, my feet only led to the same room since that alarming awakening, but before I head through the door... to a very handsome sleeping meal.. hehe.. heheheh..."Hey, Joell!?"

I turn around to find a familiar face, hair straight long down the ass, as bright as the blinding sun.

"Good morning..." I greeted her awkwardly. She looked at me, confused, smiling in a split.

"Did you just wake up?"

"Oh, no..."

"Well, it's no worries. We haven't properly met, have we? Please, join us for lunch." I just followed her.

"That son of a bitch is finally sleeping, we shall enjoy our tea time in a much more awake atmosphere, do you agree?" I could've only been worried about him; I did not hear what she said to me.

I tried to look back, where the door remains open, but I could only look forward as I was directed to walk down the stairs, down the longest hall in my life, and outside, where the sea was in view.

"My apologies if the food has grown cold, or if it's not to your liking. If you prefer, it can be remade for you." She offers with a gentle smile.

I looked at the table in front of me and stared jaw's open. In front of me appears a long, wide table, to the sides rows of chairs, and on the table, rows and rows of dishes.

I looked back at her, shocked still, shaking my hands left and right in a manner of dismissing such ideas. "I'm not a picky eater; this is too much already. Thank you so much!" I tried to pay attention to her, but my mouth is so wet and sticky at this point, my jaw is sore from its still open position, and my eyes bonkers from the amount of food it can't stop eyeing.

"Should we dig in!?"

"Mommy!!" Behind us, interpreting the familiar blonde Goddess, came El, whose jacket was either tangling him or he was tangling it.

"My babyyyy!" El was picked up as he ran to his mom, spun around, and was put into his seat within seconds, a plate in ready. He's digging into the food in the blink of an eye.

"Impressive." When I looked at the woman, she was smiling at me, mouthing 'thank you." I'm taken by surprise.

After some chit-chat, we sat down and began eating. I learned new things about her and her family. However, she barely mentioned Aslan's name but did pet name him as Husband.

"OH! How so rude of me. I just realized, I never introduced myself, and here I was telling you stories about my beautiful family!" I just realized that too! We were so engrossed in the conversation while El ate and played by himself like a good kid, with nothing dismissing the good atmosphere that a few things were just kicked outta the window!

"My name's Sov. Sov Pasha." Her smile brightens so much, matching in great energy of her shining hair.

"Nice to meet you, formally, I'm Joell Novak." I extended my hand towards hers, and we shook it off, laughing before we were back on the name topic.

"Novak? That's a beautiful last name. It may seem odd for a married woman to still have the same last name as her parents, or in a well-known case, her brother's, but it's just a funny story, and we never wanted to change it to anything else." She laughs as memories seem to rush in, maybe the joy of their last name's encounter or choosing?

"Brother?" I remember her mentioning she has a brother, younger than her by a few years, but they're close.

"Yes. Aslan? Does the dummy ring a bell?" At the mention of 'dummy' added into his name, she smiles childishly as one would at the funny given name you'd give your siblings; the built-in laugh you can't control.

Wait—

"Aslan's your brother?!" I was shocked, once more!

Just then, I remember back at the spa, a beautiful blonde-haired woman standing next to them, hair as straight as the cleanest and finest pole, as long as to her ass.

"Yess! It's fun to find out, right? We look nothing alike!" She went on, talking about the funny things she's experienced with Aslan. The horrors and funny pranks. She mentioned that he was the cuddliest korala until he got older, and now he's an "old man with no feelings."

I was dumb struck, embarrassed by my behavior towards him...Wait, then El?

"My uncle doesn't like you..." I sucked in my lips, confused why his uncle doesn't like me. Smiling, I reassured him.

"Your uncle doesn't know me. Why would he hate me?"

"Why are you also lying to me?" His pout!!! I wanna cry...

His uncle... Aslan Pasher, Sov's brother.

"Ughhh..." I shoved my face into my hands, my elbows on the table as it supported the pressure.

I want to dig a hole out of this table and jump into the sea, waving softly towards us.

Before I could even think further, I heard tired footsteps coming towards the backyard. The timing had Sov's worrying about me cut short.

"Aslan." I hear Sov greet instead.

I forgot what El said about his uncle.
