I wanted to sleep more, and daydream instead of living reality. Curious about the mumbles in the other room I sat up like Dracula and stared at the closed door.

If only I could somehow knock myself back to sleep...I stared at the door exhaustively, my brain trying to function in reality.

Waking up gets me mentally exhausted, so I laid back down, arms flat on either side, and closed my eyes. I reopened them; I cannot fall asleep! So, I took my time, keeping my eyes shut instead. In the little time I spent in the dark with the glint of light from my open curtain, I heard some steps and mumbles outside, getting closer until it was heard from inside my room.

Assuming it was Ginni, I turned to the other side of the bed, head under the pillow, and tightened my eyes shut.

"Auntiee..." And now my eyes are wide open, I screamed for hell to rebound and fell back off my bed when I saw Sov staring into my soul.

"Ow.."

Oh shit!.. I got off of El, apologizing with shock and horror while Sov seemed to be laughing all the carbon dioxide out of her lungs. "I'm sorry, let me help," she extends her hand to me.

I sat on the bed, fully awake at this point. We all sat in silence, no one really saying anything. I peek at Sov to see an eyebrow raised at me; I was going to question until something dropped from the other room, we all were alerted, running to see what happened, only to see Ginni picking up a metal pot.

"Gosh! I thought someone bombed the place or some shit.." I held onto the chair chuck under the table, my legs collapsing from the scare. Sov and her son looked at me, concerned. I laughed it off.

"Was I loud with my thoughts?" I went next to Ginni to help pick up other stuff she's dropped, not wanting an answer.

"'t's true.." Ginni nods, giving me the bowl she picked up.

"Normally you'd get used to it at some point but this girl still gets the shock. Kind of fun to see," she winks and goes ahead into the kitchen, preparing something. Sov looks like she's not too concerned at this point, checking around the living room.

I was going to mention that it may not be as fancy as hers...theirs?..Whose place did I wake up in again? But I got curious about something else. When I was ready to ask, El had began hugging my leg, his tablet which he had taken out of his backpack is in both of his hands.

"Haha.." I ruffled his hair, looking to Sov who's helping Ginni. I don't want to ask anymore.

"Did you and El come together, Sov?" I went to set the table when Ginni gave me the plates, which also got El off my leg. Good, thank you! Something to distract my embarrassment with..

"Yes! Mommy said to runaway and here we!" El answered me, running around with his backpack jumping on his back. Sov called him over to pull his bag off him but he just ran away.

"Runaway?" I took the bowl of salad from Ginni, looking to Sov when I finished my question before setting it in the middle of the table.

"Ewww, I don't like salad." El complained, sitting on the chair before running off again. Sov set down olives, cheese and whatever seem appropriate for breakfast before standing behind the chairs and turning to face me, one hand at her hip while the other one moved around, following her words.

"El got bored first thing in the morning, no breakfast whatsoever and wanted to go to you. You did leave pretty early. I do hope we aren't bothering you guys, this little guy acts spoiled with his mama, knowing he could get away with it." She shook her head, chuckling. At the mention of his name El came back and threw himself at his mom, hugging her while complaining that he's hungry.
