PART ONE : AUTOGRAPH BOY

MINNIE POV

FLASHBACK AT MAMA AWARDS

Mina left a little later after our conversation with Karina and I decided to hang around because it was really comfortable in the lobby room.
It has snacks, a tv and soft couches. There's also a few people here.

I see Chaewon and Kazuha from LE SSERAFIM, I see Jisung and Minho getting a snack together and I also encountered a few members of Enhypen and StayC. So I really don't feel like leaving.

I'm sitting on the couch and watching the MAMA awards from my comfortable seat. Just now, I'm waking up to go get a drink by the table.

I walk past the seat where Karina was sitting and I didn't mean to but I caught a glimpse of her phone and I saw her texting someone.

I continue walking and minding my business as the thought lingers in my head. I feel like the person she was texting was Hyunjin. I saw his instagram account username.

I guess they really hit it off. I smile to the thought that Karina and Hyunjin could be making their way at a bigger relationship. I'm happy for her.

I take an apple flavored juice box and quickly make my way back to the couch where I was sitting.

A few minutes later Hyunjin came in the little lobby with Seungmin by his side. I smile and wave at them and they wave back.

I decide to leave because I've spent enough time here. If I stay any longer, Soyeon might wonder where I am.

As I walk out, I hear Hyunjin whisper something from where he is by the door.

"Oh no, she's here." He says under his breath, loud enough for me to hear. He then turns around and walks the other way.

I found that weird since if him and Karina had something going on, wouldn't he want to see her? That is, if him saying "her" is referring to Karina and no one else.

So I look at Karina to see how she might look like and I almost jumped out of fear.

Her face shows pure anger which I've never seen before because she's mostly sweet and calm. Right now, she looks like she wants to punch the wall or something.

I shake my head and start to walk away from where I was. I see Mina talking with someone who I don't recognize.

I walk up to them.

"Hey, Mina and...?" I say, wondering what the man's name was.
"I'm Jude." He says. What is he doing here? I don't even think he's a kpop idol.

"Um, Jude is here because he is looking for Karina." Mina tells me. I look at her worriedly. We can't just let anyone go see a kpop idol when we don't know them.

For all we know he could be a crazy fan that somehow found his way in here.

"I'm not sure we can let you. Not that we have any authority but for safety reasons." I tell him. He nods understandingly.

"Karina is actually my ex. I wanted to give her an important message." Jude says.

A message?

Just then, Mina pulls me aside and whispers in my ear.

"He told me that Karina is a crazy ex." Mina says with a concerned look in her face. A crazy ex? Karina? That can't be.

"What do you mean?" I whisper back. She shrugs. "He seems honest but I don't know." She's uncertain whether to let him see her or not.
