(Protest truck ^^^^^)
FELIX POV
Ever since Hyunjin's kidnapping the group has refrained from all idol activities so we can cope with his disappearance.
Except some Stays are going crazy. They have been protest trucks in the front of JYP building saying that Hyunjin was better off without the group.
A lot more people said we should abandon his search and continue as 7 members but if we did that it would just feel wrong.
I don't want to lose Hyunjin.
At this point, it's already been two weeks and a few days since he's been gone. Already, some of us aren't doing well but the pressure of K-netizens and other fandoms are really pressing us.Some say we should just disband and that wouldn't be completely out of the picture it's just that I don't want to. Being a kpop idol is my dream.
I don't want to go through all the stress and struggle just to find out that my best friend hasn't been found AND I'm losing my job.
The worst part is, JYP is considering it. If I'm being honest, we have no leads or information and it's not like the police are helping.
It'd only make sense if we gave up now but I just can't. Hyunjin and I are so close and imagining a life without him is imagining a life without Stray Kids.
No stray kids means no friends. And I love my friends...
This all has me thinking. Life's too short to dwell on drama and problems. For all I know even I could get kidnapped tomorrow.
Maybe I should talk with Chan and fix the things between us. After all, he is my best friend.
We can't let a girl get between us.I sigh and take my chances. I should text him.
~~~~~~~
"You wanted to talk?" Chan says as he takes a sip of his coffee.
I decide to talk with him at the cafe where our fallout happened.
"Yes..." I answer shyly. "The truth is...I'm sorry." I confess.
His eyes widen as he puts his coffee cup down.
It's hasn't even been five minutes and I can already feel the pain of my actions.
"I was blinded by rage and jealousy. It's completely stupid that I did that to you." I continue.
Chan listens carefully as I apologize sincerely. Accidentally, I let out a tear that was hanging around my eye.
It hurts so much...
"I forgive you." He says. I look at him.
"You really do?" I ask unsurely. He nods with a faint smile."I've never seen you that angry before Lix. Especially since it was my fault things got out of hand. I lied to you and hurt you." He explains.
"I wish you hadn't acted so harshly but I honestly deserved it..."
"No you didn't! It's just the things that love does, you know? It's fine! I can find another crush and..."
Chan stops me while shaking his head.
"Not needed. I don't need a crush right now...I just want my best friend back." Chan tells me.
I smile softly at those words.
"Me too." I agree with him.
For the rest of our time in the cafe we chatted and caught up with our lives. It was nice for things to go back to normal.
I feel so at peace.
"About Sana..." I start. "We should probably say sorry." I tell him. He nods.
"Yeah, we kind of caused a scene!" He jokes.
My phone dings loudly so I reach in my pocket to look at what it is but instead I find a bracelet.
I almost forgot! I felt bad about breaking Chan's bracelet so I made him a new one that looked a bit like the broken one.
"Hey Chan!" I say happily. He looks at me with a warm smile. I hand it to him carefully and his eyes are locked on the object.
"Thank you..." His voice cracks a bit. "It's not as pretty as Sana's but I hope you'll like it..."
He puts it around his wrist and takes a good look at it.
"I love it!" He exclaims. I take a sip of my coffee as I'm happy to hear it.
Now, to check why my phone dinged.
"Famous kpop idol Mina Myoi..."
WHAT?
First Hyunjin now Mina? This is just crazy!
"Chan...Mina is missing!" I tell him. His eyes widen at the news and I show him my phone.
He squints to look at it clearly.
"Fuck." He lets out.
Chan curses quite often but this is the first time I heard him say curse words like that. It wasn't for fun he just seemed...pissed?
"Jihyo told me something about Mina going out. She explained to me that we needed to wait for a "signal" but something about her disappearance is weird..." Chan tells me.
"Why?" I ask curiously.
"For her to be reported missing someone would have to notice she's gone first, but from what I've understood, Twice knew what happened to her and expected her to come back."
He explains deeply."If someone were to report her missing it'd have to be them because they are the only ones who knew what she would be doing..." He continues.
"But if that's so then why wouldn't they wait? Why would they rush to claim her disappearance?"
My heart races. Does that mean...
"Unless...it wasn't twice who reported her, except someone else...but who?"
Before we could answer that question my phone dings again.
TO : Straykids@gmail.comHello,
I am sorry to inform you that Stray Kids can no longer perform as a group, in other words, disbandment.
With the hectic situation of Hyunjin Hwang's disappearance and the inability to contact Changbin Seo, I have sadly decided to end the contract with Stray Kids.
Please note that this is for the sake of your safety and our company. I apologize for any further inconveniences and difficulties.
My heart sunk as I finished reading this.
Is it really over?~~~~~~~~
Who reported Mina missing?
