9 : I'll be your man

March 7th

JEONGIN POV

"I have a plan" I tell Jihyo as Seungmin clings to my arm.

"What do you have in mind?" She asks curiously.
I take a deep breath ready to explain.

It's all so sudden. Seungmin, Chan and I were in their apartment in Chan's room talking about what recently happened till we heard a ding on our phones.

As we read how Hyunjin got kidnapped I almost burst in tears, I tried to stay calm. We were all obviously on edge. It's not everyday that your best friend gets kidnapped.

I snap myself out of my thoughts and word my lips to answer Jihyo's question.

"Before Hyunjin left we had a bet. Whoever lost UNO had to post something embarrassing on their Instagram which would be picked my the winner. AKA me." I started to explain.

"I logged into Hyunjin's account and posted something but that's not the point. I have his instagram so we can use it to find evidence." I tell her.

She gasps from the other line and I hear talking.

"Okay. We'll talk about this tomorrow. It's late." I sigh. It is.

"Alright. Bye." I say.

I hang up the phone and Chan and Seungmin look at me with a sad face. I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep after the what happened today.

It's hard to hear Jihyo sound the way she did. Tired,  broken. I should've just kept my mouth shut and let Minho tell her.

I guess there might not be much I can do, right now.

Both of my friends get up and head to bed while I head to mine too.

I lay down and take a deep breath.
I look at the ceiling and sigh.

What happens if we don't find him?

TOMORROW AT 12: 30 AM

We all woke up pretty late today and got up for coffee barely able to keep our eyes open.

"Good morning." Seungmin told me. What's good about this morning?
"Where's Chan?" I ask. He points to the living room and I quickly understand that's where he is. I walk over there and wave at him. He's on his laptop.

"Hey. What are you doing?" I ask him. He smiles faintly and tilts his computer to let me see.

"I'm looking for information regarding Hyunjin. I got something, look." He says. I look towards the screen and see an article.

After reading it I was a bit confused.

"Chan this happens all the time." I say.
"That true. But here's the thing. When I looked at more articles about Hyunjin, I noticed how it's the same person but in a different disguise." He explains.

He show me pictures and I look carefully and I notice the pattern. It was a woman with blue hair, black hair, and different styles each time.

"We can recognize her by the beauty mark on her cheek. And get this : every time she meets Hyunjin she insists for a hug." He tells me.

That's so weird.

"Why would she want a hug? Why not just an autograph?" I ask him. Chan shrugs and looks back at his computer.
