"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦, 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭?" Cisco remarks, a hint of frustration in his voice.

"You didn't make copies?" Rae questions, her tone nonchalant.

"Well, I'm not about to mass produce emblems!" Cisco exclaims, sounding exasperated.

Rae doesn't want to admit Cisco's point, so she playfully pushes the rolling chair that Cisco is sitting on, avoiding the topic altogether.

"This is the woman who was willing to kill Linda in order to escape Zoom, but now she's willing to help us catch him?" Caitlin asks incredulously, trying to wrap her head around Dr. Light's change of heart.

"She knows it's the only way," Barry responds with a determined tone.

"Before I left Earth-2, I worked on a serum to dampen Zoom's speed." Harry says, coming into the cortex.

As he takes off his glasses, Rae's eyes widen slightly (it was hypnotizing, sue her), causing Barry to shoot her a quick glance, his irritation evident.

Barry shifts his stance a bit.

"I guess it's time to consider investing in reading glasses," Barry muses internally, a twinge of irritation lacing his thoughts.

"All we need now is for Ramon to develop a delivery mechanism for it," Harry suggests, his tone matter-of-fact.

Cisco rolls his eyes and looks up to the ceiling, silently praying to whichever deity might be listening to grant him the patience to deal with Harry's know-it-all attitude.

"Oh, great, that could be this year's cold gun. Maybe another criminal can get it, and then we'd have Sergeant Slow," Caitlin quips sarcastically.

"I would never let that happen. Sergeant Slow is a terrible name," Cisco retorts, his arms crossed above his head.

Meanwhile, Joe stands off to the side, utterly perplexed by all the scientific banter. Glancing at Rae, he silently hopes she's equally lost. To his relief, she nods in silent agreement.

(that's a lie. What type of fan would she be if she didn't understand some of the weird science crap they pull out)

"Are we forgetting how much more powerful than Barry Zoom seems to be?" Caitlin interjects, her tone tinged with concern.

"I mean, if Barry can catch bullets, what's to say Zoom can't catch whatever you shoot at him?" She gestures with her hands to emphasize her point, while Barry, feeling the weight of doubt, avoids making eye contact with anyone.

Barry sidles up to Rae, casually draping his hand on the side of her hip. Rae shoots him a quizzical look, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion and a hint of flustered discomfort.
