Crossover episodes really wanted to show off the whole cast, huh.
Rae and Harry stood off to the side near the console, partially hidden behind Caitlin and Iris. Rae leaned casually against the wall, her arms crossed, her gaze flicking between the group in the center of the room and Harry.
"How long is she going to stare at the suit?" Rae asked, her voice tinged with confusion. She nodded towards Kendra, who was standing in front of a mannequin displaying the suit. Kendra's eyes were locked on it, her brow furrowed in intense concentration. "She already saw it on Barry. Now it's just on a mannequin."
Harry let out an exasperated sigh, his eyes narrowing. "It's like she's never seen a piece of tech before," he muttered, his tone dripping with irritation,"You were just as bad,"
"Oh, haha," Rae responded, rolling her eyes dramatically. She pushed herself off the wall, "That was different."
Harry snorted, shaking his head. "Sure it was," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Harry glanced at one of the monitors displaying Barry's latest speed trials. "He isn't getting faster," he stated, his frustration evident in his clipped tone.
Rae shifted uncomfortably, "I know. He will, don't worry. He's supposed to," she replied, though her voice lacked conviction.
Harry sighed, his annoyance simmering just beneath the surface. "He better," he muttered. Then, changing the subject, he continued, "Speaking of—we needed those breach implosion reactors for the ones outside the central zone. I finished making them."
"Already?" Rae's eyes widened in surprise, genuinely impressed.
"It helps that the draft was already made. Now we have to use the reactors and close the breaches down," Harry muttered, a sense of satisfaction creeping into his voice.
"You did check that it was correct, right? Because I only went by memory and—" Rae stressed, her anxiety evident.
"Of course I did," Harry replied sharply. "I'm not going to trust someone who's obviously below my intelligence."
"How humble you are," Rae said, her annoyance clear.
"Yes, quite," Harry responded, missing the sarcasm in her voice. "So when will we execute the plan? I assume as soon as possible."
"Not today. I'll be...out of town," Rae replied.
Out of town, as in visiting Starling City to stop Vandal Savage. You know, the ancient immortal who's hell-bent on world domination. Just a temporary setback, since he'll show up again in Legends of Tomorrow.
