Misha's POV:-

As Vedansh offered to help to carry my books, I couldn't shake off the feeling of surprise and confusion. In my mind, Vedansh was the notorious "bad boy" of the university, known for his antics and his charm. Yet here he was, offering a simple act of kindness without any ulterior motive.

i can't gasp this feeling.

At first, I found myself hesitant, wondering if I had misjudged Vedansh all along. Could he really be as genuine as he seemed in this moment? Or was there something more to his offer, something hidden beneath his charming facade? As they walked together, I couldn't help but analyze every word and gesture, searching for any hint of deception or manipulation.

but i found none.

But try as my might, I found myself unable to uncover any ulterior motives. Perhaps, I thought to myself, I had misunderstood Vedansh all along, and he was simply trying to be a decent human being.

Or some students might have spread this rumour of him being bad .

Despite my initial doubts, I felt a small wave of gratitude in my heart as Vedansh carried my books effortlessly. His presence brought a surprising sense of comfort amidst the whirlwind of my thoughts. As he walked beside me, I couldn't help but appreciate the help and the strange calm he seemed to bring.

What seemed like a simple and kind gesture was actually the beginning of a complicated game that Vedansh had planned. I didn't realize it at the time, but this game would challenge all my beliefs and assumptions about him..

Author's POV:-

Misha rushed into Meher's dorm room, buzzing with nervous excitement. "Meher, Tujhe vishwas nahi hoga abhi kya hua" she exclaimed, flopping onto the beanbag chair with a dramatic sigh.

(you won't believe what just happened!)

Meher, lying on her bed with a well-worn copy of "Pride and Prejudice," looked up with a curious smile. "What is it now, Mish?" she asked.

"Vedansh," Misha blurted out, her voice filled with a mix of excitement and disbelief. "Of all people, Vedansh offered to help me carry my books!"

Meher's eyebrows shot up in surprise. The name hung in the air for a beat, carrying the weight of its notoriety. "Wait, Vedansh? The same Vedansh who's practically a campus legend for his pranks and his...well, his bad-boy attitude?"

Misha nodded eagerly, her eyes showing a mix of amusement and confusion. She found the situation both kind and puzzling, not quite sure what to make of Vedansh's unexpected help.

. "Exactly! That's what surprised me too. I mean, I always thought he was just another one of those guys who thrived on causing trouble. But today, he was different. He seemed genuinely nice."

Meher sat up straighter, her skepticism evident in the way she tilted her head. "Hmm," she mused, her voice laced with a playful suspicion. "Are you absolutely sure he didn't have some intentional  motive, Mish? Knowing Vedansh, there might be more to the story than meets the eye."

Misha furrowed her brow, a thoughtful crease forming between her eyes as she replayed the encounter in her mind. "I thought about that too," she admitted, biting her lower lip. "But honestly, I couldn't find anything suspicious about how he acted. It was almost like... he was just being a decent person."

A slow smile spread across Meher's face, her skepticism fading into a hint of amusement. "Well, I suppose people can surprise you sometimes," she said, her voice mixed with curiosity. "Maybe the campus rumors have gotten him all wrong. Maybe he's not as bad as everyone says he is."
