*******
Something strange happened at the party, and she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching her.

Then, Vedansh suddenly got sick and didn't want her to go to the party. It all seemed too perfect, like he was hiding something. She started to wonder if he was lying..

Pushing the thoughts aside for the moment, Misha focused on making the tea. They sipped their drinks in a companionable silence, talking about random things - the latest movie they'd seen, a funny story from work.

They were trying really hard to talk like normal, but it felt fake and uncomfortable.

Misha felt really uncomfortable and couldn't stop thinking something was wrong. Vedansh acted strangely. He kept looking around quickly, and his eyes stayed on the windows for too long, even while they were talking.

When Misha told Vedansh she was canceling her plans with Sarah, he quickly looked happy for a second before pretending to be worried about her.

Misha took a big breath and decided to ask Vedansh about her doubts directly. Placing her mug down on the coffee table, she met Vedansh's gaze.

"Vedansh," she began, her voice calm but firm. "There's something you're not telling me. Something about the incident, about why you didn't want me to go to Sarah's party."

Vedansh's smile disappeared. He looked scared when Misha looked at him and wouldn't look her in the eyes. There was a long, uncomfortable silence between them.

"Misha, it's nothing," he stammered, his voice lacking conviction. "I just... I wasn't feeling well, and I didn't want to worry you."

But Misha wasn't convinced. She deserved the truth, and she wouldn't back down until she got it. The story Vedansh told didn't make sense and had lots of mistakes.

Misha's eyes narrowed, her irritation bubbling over. "Are you telling the truth, Vedansh?Mujhe sach sunna hai " she demanded, her voice laced with suspicion.

( I want to know the truth)

Vedansh jumped back a little when Misha looked at him closely. He tried to smile to make her feel better, but it looked fake because Misha was staring at him so hard.

"Yes, of course," he stammered, his voice lacking its usual conviction. "Why would I lie to you?"

Misha didn't get an answer. She still didn't believe Vedansh. He had been acting weird lately, like when he got sick right after she said she was going out. It all seemed strange and didn't make sense together.

Misha saw that things were getting tense, so she stopped talking about it. Vedansh noticed that Misha was upset, so he pretended to give her some alone time. But he really just wanted to stop her from asking him more questions.

Even though Misha didn't talk about it anymore, things were still strange between them. Vedansh acted like he was giving Misha space, but he was really just watching her secretly.

He followed her when she was with other people, but tried to hide so she wouldn't know. Vedansh wanted to control Misha, but didn't want her to know it.

This web of deceit slowly tightened, creating a reality where Misha was free yet unknowingly entangled.

...................

Misha was excited to see Vedansh. She was jingling her keys, and had a big smile on her face as she walked to his building.

She could smell coffee coming from his apartment, just like always. She imagined they would laugh, watch funny movies, and maybe even dance together in his living room.
