Nyx was sitting on the bed flipping channels. Jasper sat next to her a plate of food that Nyx was eating between them. Next to the bed Bella's stuff is on many plates of food and Alice is trying to get her to eat. Bella walks in on her phone. "You should eat, Bella." But Bella ignores the food. She sits heavily.

"They could get hurt saving her of all people." She sneered at the magic girl. Bella sits on the bed.

"Why do you hate me?" Nyx asks her.

"You're not worth saving."

Jasper growls, scaring the human girl. Nyx and Alice both are fast to calm him down. "Yes. She is." He glares at the Swan girl. "Edward's changed since he found her. And none of us want to look into his eyes for the next hundred years if he loses her." He looks at Nyx and smiles at her, "She's worth everything."

Suddenly, Alice's eyes widened. Jasper goes to her, Bella follows, keeping her distance from Jasper. Nyx sits next to Alice. "What's going on?" Nyx asks Jasper, scared for her friend.

"What do you see?" Jasper asks Alice.

"The tracker. He just changed course..." Alice said worriedly. Jasper quickly sets a pad of paper and pencil in front of her.

"Where will it take him, Alice?" Jasper asks

"Mirrors. It's a room of mirrors." Alice begins to draw fast, closing her eyes, trying to see it clearly.

"How do the visions work?" Nyx asks, seeing the speed that she is drawing at.

"She sees the course people are on, while they're on it. If they change their minds, the visions change."

Bella looks over Alice's shoulder to see the drawing. "So the course James is on now will lead him to... a ballet studio?"

Alice looks up at Bella, "You've been here?"

"No. I don't know. I used to take ballet lessons as a kid. The school had an arch like that."

Jasper's voice is cold to the human "Was your school here in Phoenix?"

Bella nodded, "Yeah, around the corner from my house. But I haven't been there in ten years." Alice and Jasper share a look, trying to figure this out.

Suddenly, Nyx's cell phone rings. She picks it up and sees Edward's name. "Hello?"

"I'm coming to get you." He sighs, "We lost the tracker. The woman is still in the area. Rosalie and Esme are protecting Charlie."

"When will you get here?"

"In a couple hours. Then you and I will go somewhere. Together. The others will keep hunting. Onyx, I swear to you, I'll do whatever it takes to make you safe again."

"I'm able to take care of myself, Edward."

"I know. But it's my job to keep you safe. Especially from my own kind, Nyx."

Hanging up Nyx sees Alice and Jasper take the bags to the car and settle the bill. Nyx and Bella stay in the room and check for any other things that may be left behind. Bella's phone rings. Sigh with relief Bella picks it up. "Mom, I'm so glad you got my-" she pauses, looking worried, "Calm down, Mom. Everything is fine, okay? I'll explain every-" She pauses again. Nyx hears a loud yell. "Mom? Are you there?" another pause. "Leave my mother out of this."

"Bella?"

"Where should I meet you?" Bella hangs up, turning to Nyx. "Let's go." She grabs Nyx's arm. Bella walks through the lobby, scanning for Jasper and Alice. She spots them outside under the porte cacher, loading the Mercedes, deep in a heated discussion. She slips out the opposite door, rushes toward a Taxi and jumps in, closing the door after pushing Nyx in. "8th and Palo Verde, please."

"Bella, what are you doing?" Nyx asks quietly.

"James has my mom. He said for us to meet him alone." Shocked, Nyx nods and looks out the rear window seeing the hotel get small, missing Bella's smirk.

The sign in front of the girls reads, 'Mimi's School of Dance.' Bella climbs out of the taxi, Nyx following her. It pulls away, leaving them on the curb facing the deserted building. Bella twirls her mother's ring around her finger, then reaches for the pepper spray. "You brought pepper spray?" Nyx asks. "How's that going to help?"

"You didn't bring anything." Nyx grabs her wand from her boot. "Wow, a stick. Great."

Nyx waves her wand, pointing it to a small pile of leaves on the road "Incendio" the leaves catch fire causing Bella to stumble back. Nyx casts an extinguishing charm after. "Still just a stick?"

Bella drags her in. Nyx hears a woman's voice yell out, "Bella? Bella?" The girls follow the voice. "Bella, where are you?" They get closer and see a closet. Bella opens it and sees a television that's playing a video. "Don't you want to dance, baby?" the young Bella shakes her head.

"Everyone makes fun of me."

"But you're a wonderful dancer.

"Mom, I suck."

The girls hear a chuckle behind them. "That's my favorite part. Stubborn child, weren't you, Bella?" They see James in the mirrors.

"She's not here." Bella said.

"Sorry. But you really made it too easy." He is beside the girls. A camera in his hand. He grabs on to Nyx and smirks as she tries to pull away. He grabs the wand from her and throws it away, "So to make things more entertaining, I'm going to make a little film of our time together." James turns to Bella "Borrowed this from your house. Hope you don't mind." He lets go of Nyx and smiles turning on the camera. "And... action!" Bella throws her bag at him and tries to run. "Excellent! An escape attempt." He is behind her and Nyx was able to grab her wand.

She points her wand up to a broken window, "Periculum" Red sparks fly into the air. She makes the charm so it alerts her father at Hogwarts too using an extension she learned. James saw and ran at her.

"Well then." He walks towards her with a pretory look on his face. "It'll break Edward's little heart. His rage will make for a more interesting sport than his feeble attempt to protect you." James grabbed her hand and broke her arm. Nyx screams in pain.

James runs at Bella and grabs her. She spins around and sprays him with the pepper spray. James flings her into a column. James films her. "Beautiful! Very visually dynamic. I chose my stage well. Still stubborn, aren't you? Is that what makes you special? Because frankly, I don't see it." Bella's knocked out as she hit it.

"Bella!" Nyx backs away, "Lumos" She shines it in his eyes.

James hisses and slaps the wand out of her hand. He glares at her. "Well done, beautiful! You've succeeded in annoying me." He stomps on her shin. She hears the snap of her tibia. Nyx screams. James shoves the camera in her face, "Tell Edward how much it hurts. Tell him to avenge you."

"I'll never give you the satisfaction of it." She uses her good leg to trip him. He glares and grabs her biting her shoulder. She screamed but was able to push him off. James is pushed away in a flash. Edward growls at him.

"You're alone... because you're faster than the others. But not stronger." James pushed Edward into a mirror cracking it.

"I'm strong enough to kill you." Edward growls. Edward flings James backwards. James flings Edward up into the top window. James grabs Bella and tries to bite her wrist. Clifford is able to make it to her. Grabbing her and running. As Nyx fades from consciousness she sees Emmett, Jasper and Alice help destroy James. Carlisle is in her sight but she can't hear anything he says. Before her eyes close she sees purple sparks from the door and sees Dumbledore, McGonagall and her dad. She sees them throw sparks at James after she sees Emmett tell them something. Edward is by her side and she sees her dad run over. She blacks out tired from the pain.
