"Fist things first. Getting you into some normal teenage clothes," he says.
"Uh.... Okay?"
"So, how are you a princess anyways?"
"Oh. I was born into the royal family," I say.
"Makes sense."
"Were will I be staying?" I ask him.
"Probably at my house. Unless you want to stay at my friend Quinn's house."
"I'll stay anywhere," I agree.
"Okay." He says.

"Let's stop here," he says and pulls into a Tanger Outlet mall.
"What's this?"
"It's an outlet mall. you seem pretty rich. Did you bring some money?" He asks me.
"My mom gave me some," I assure him.
"Good." He parks and we get out and I suddenly feel uncomfortable in my dress.
"Don't let anyone know that your the princess of Exquire," he whispers to me. And I nod. I left my crown on my bag so no one will realize it unless they looked pretty hard. We walk into a hip store called Hollister to find some actual clothes for me. I buy a pair of these cute shorts that are high waisted, and something called a crop top? Then after that, we go and buy these shoes called sneakers? Or Converse? I can't remember which one. And after that, we drove to Reid's house.
"I like your house," I say once we get there.
"Thanks. I like yours too," he jokes. We get out, grab my luggage and walk inside. His house is way more modern than mine. He has a tv and a computer, (not that I don't have those) but for some reason, his house seems more of a home than mine.
We walk up the stairs and enter a room that is nicely cleaned and painted a light brown color.
"This is the guest room. You can use it as long as your here," he says to me. "Oh and my sister's room is right across the hall, so just borrow some of her clothes."
"Okay! Thanks," I say. He smiles and walks on a ways down the hall to his room probably.
I decided I should probably begin unpacking, so I sit down on the floor and go through all of my stuff and put it in the dresser. Everything is so different here. It's nice to be outside of the Kingdom for once. I don't think I could stand it much longer.
I go though my dresses, crowns, and heels. Nothing seems as comfortable as what I'm wearing now. I wait for a while to meet my maids, but then I realize that their aren't any.
About an hour after I'm done, my phone goes off. I check it and answer it.
"Hello darling! How are you doing?" Mother asks me.
"I'm fine mother. But um.... I have a question. How long will I be here?"
"Through the school year," she says with sadness pinging in her voice.
"Oh. Okay," I answer.
"It'll be good. I promise," she promises.
"If you say so," I say.
"Okay, so I'll leave you to whatever you need to do," she says and hangs up with out a goodbye. That seemed weird, but I let it pass. Probably some orders from my dad.
I put my phone on the side table and lay there for a while; trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do here. I guess I'm just exited to be out of the kingdom. But is going to take some getting used to.
