A/N: hello everyone!!! I have decided todo these at the beginning of the chapters now and then, mainly because I always like when people do:)
This chapter was really inspiring to me because.. Well... You'll find out:)
Oh and the photo!
Okay so this is a collage I made of Quinn, Nick and Reid! I have so many more photos of them but it wouldn't let me add anymore photos:( most of them are of Quinn and that's not just because she's my favorite character, because she's not. I don't really have a favorite nor that I think about it, but she most likely have the most photos because I found a ton of really nice photos of her and sorta went crazy XD
Song: Hold Each Other- Great Big World ( listen to it while you read this chapter or something because it just makes it even more touching :)

In this chapter: you see Quinn do something you wouldn't expect coming...

"I see you got out of the elevator," Quinn says as I open my locker.
"You saw me after it happened. And it was yesterday," I remind her as I grab my biology book, along with Quinn's book bag.
"Yeah I know. And I got you this," she says as she sets down her crutch and pulls out a giant pink snow globe with the hospital name displayed on it.
"Seriously," I say with a smirk.
"Well, I wanted one that said 'I got stuck in the elevator at St. Oliver's hospital while his very very best friend was at a doctors appointment,'" she says, bringing hear hands farther and farther across her face.
"I'm surprised they don't have one like that," I joke.
"Yeah, I know," she says. I shut my locker and we begin walking towards lunch. It's about time that the lunch bell rang. I was stuck working on a project with Nick in English. And let me tell you, he isn't the working type. As we walked to lunch, Nick caught up with us and I handed him Quinn's book bag, which he had duty of until the end of the school day. We walked into lunch.
"Don't you just hate the smell I cafeteria food," Nick says, hoisting Quinn's book bag up higher on his shoulder.
"It sickens me," Quinn says sarcastically. Nick and I go and lie our stuff down on a outdoor table, somewhat close to our usual spot.
"It's so hot outside," I groan.
"It's hotter when you have to carry this," Nick says, gesturing to Quinn's book bag.
"How does she do it?" I say.
"I think she's stronger than the both of us," Nick says and wipes his forehead. Then a familiar scream comes from the cafeteria. I look over at Nick.

I haven't heard that scream since third grade.

We rush into the school and find Quinn, covered in school cafeteria food and Tori standing there, smiling deviously.
"What the?" I say and offer Quinn my hand. She takes it and I pull her up. Then, the cafeteria crowd bursts into laughter.
"I can't," Quinn says. Her eyes well up with tears and she rushes our of the cafeteria.
"Oh my god," Nick mumbles. We run our of the cafeteria after her. It's been a while since Quinn has cried. She doesn't get upset that easily. I've admired her for that for years. It's heartbreaking to see one of you best friends, who is always there for you, break down into tears. Especially if she's a girl.
"Quinn?" I call out into the empty hallway.
"Dude, look," Nick whispers and points right outside of the girl's bathroom. Quinn's knees are pulled to her chest and she's crying. We run over to her and sit on either side of her.
"Quinn. Oh my god. Do you need any new clothes or something," I say and rub my hand on her shoulder. She looks up and her eyes well up again with tears.
"No. I'm fine," she whispers and begins to cry again.
"Are there any clothes in your locker? You have gym today," Nick says. Quinn nods he head. He looks up and nods at me. I get up and run towards Quinn's locker, unlock it, pull out her gym shirt and shorts, and begin to shut it when I notice something. Polaroids of all three of us. Places that I don't even remember going. There's one photo, near the top, where Nick, Quinn and I are standing right outside of laser tag for her thirteenth birthday party. We ran and ran. But obviously Quinn won by a mile. Then there's a photo of just Quinn and I, siting on the front porch of my old house. She's smiling. Her hair is pulled up in a ponytail and I look like I've just died. Near the end, there is another photo, it's near the bottom. Oh my god. I can't believe she kept it. It's a photo of when I turned fourteen. God, that was an awkward stage for all of us. My hair was a mess because my mom had just let me use hair gel, Quinn's face was a nightmare because she was finally allowed to use makeup and Nick, well, he was just plain awkward.
Remembering my task, I shut her locker and run back over to where Nick and Quinn were.
"Here," I say and hand her the gym clothes as I sat down next to her. Nick hands her her crutches and she walks I to the girls restroom to change.
"I haven't seen her cry since third grade when you knocked her off of the swing," Nick says, with a slight laugh at the end.
"Yeah. I know," I say. Quinn walks out with her gym clothes on and her other clothes slung over her shoulder. Her cheeks were tear stained and her mascara has defiantly left it's mark. Nick takes off his red flannel shirt that he wore over his white one today and hands it to Quinn. I take her white clothes that are now covered in red tomato sauce and shove them through my back pockets. I balance Quinn as she slides on Nick's flannel over her Gym shirt and rolls it up. She looks us in the eye as we stand in front of her and begins crying again.
"Whoa, what's wrong?" I ask.
"You guys are just the best friends any girl could ask for. And I mean it, you are the most giving people I've met, even though I treat you both like crap, you still look out for me, and I'm thankful for that every day," she says.
"Quinn," Nick says and pulls us into the hug.
"Let's go and get your stuff," I say once we break our hug.
"I don't think I can Reid," she says quietly.
"Well that's okay, because Nick's going go and get it," I say.
"I am? Oh yeah. I am," he says and races into the Cafeteria again. Quinn and I slide back down to the floor.
"I was looking at the photos that you have of the three of us, sprawled out around your locker, and I wondered. Why did you keep most of them?" I ask her.
"I kept them because they all have a special video to go with them," she says simply and then sniffles.
"What?" I say, a little confused.
"I have videos of them. I've meant to show you and Nick for a while, but I just haven't gotten around to it," she says and smiles.
"I'm back," Nick says breathlessly.
"I'm glad your alive," I say and help in carry some of the stuff. Like my Biology book, my book bag and so fourth.
"Quinn," Nick asks as as stands up and we hand her her crutches. "Why did you break down? You've never done that before, or not in a while at least. But you don't have to answer the question if you'd don't want to," Nick asks.
"I am a very insecure person at points. And it doesn't help the situation that I'm and insecure girl, because girls are already super insecure already. Or most of them are anyways," she explains.

And maybe then, I realize that I'm freaking lucky to be a guy.

"But your never come across that way. At least not to me, and I've known you my whole life," I say.
"I guess I do a pretty good job of hiding it," she says with a slight laugh.
"There's the laugh!" Nick says. I high five him over Quinn's head.
"You guys are the best," she says and leans her head on Nick's shoulder.

"Yeah. We're pretty great."
