I park my car in the parking lot of the hospital, hoping that no one is visiting Aura. I walk into the he glass doors and walk straight past the lady in the front desk. People give me strange looks, but she knows what I'm here for. Instead of taking the elevators, I walk the long way to the stairs.
There is no possible way that I'm getting on that elevator ever again. Or any for that matter.
Once I reach her floor successfully by running up the stairs, I walk straight to her room, expecting to see her peacefully in the bed with a million and one machines hooked up to her, but it's not.
There's a hundred and one doctors int here though. I press my face against the window to see what's going on, but I can't see anything. Not until a pale figure appears from the bed.
Doctors begin to help her up. I look around me. This is a dream. This is not real life.
Aura is awake.
I take out my phone and press call.
"What is it now?" Quinn answers, grumpily.
"A-A-Aura's awake," I say and swallow.
"What? Reid, what are you saying? The said it was-"
"I-I know what they said. But this is now. I'm surrounded by ten thousand white coated men and they're all looking at Aura. I swear I think the press is coming," I say to her.
"I'll be down there A.S.A.P," she says and hangs up. As soon as she hangs up, I call Nick.
"Sup, dude," he answers.
"Come to the hospital. Right. Now," I say and hang up before he answers.
I try to make it though the doctors, but I can't seem to get even near the middle, so I sit in a chair and anxiously wait for her to come.
"Where am I?" I hear a soft voice say. My head shoots up and I stare at the pale white figure, with short brown hair and doctors surrounding her.
"I'm sorry sir, you can't be here unless your family," a doctor tells me.
"Are you family?" Another asks. I shake my head 'no' and a doctor escorts me to the waiting room where I find my two best friends walking into the door.
"Where is she?" Quinn asks me.
"We aren't family, therefore, we aren't allowed to see her yet," I say sadly.
"That's so stupid," Nick murmurs.
"Agreed. We're going in wheatear they like it or not," Quinn says, grabs both of our hands, drags up up the stairs and into the room.
Once we enter the doorway, Quinn drops our hands and runs to hug Aura.
"Aura!" She screams and startles Aura. Aura struggles to get out, so Quinn lets go.
"Who- who are you people?" Aura says, totally serious.
Oh my god...
