I walk into the hospital.

I've decided to go to hospital and visit Aura alone, I mean, I always come with my friends, sometimes you just need to be alone.
"Aura Bell," I say to the lady at the front desk. She nods her head for me to go. I walk a little bit farther than the elevator, mainly because I can stand them, and I walk towards the stairs. I open the door and begin what I like to call my morning/ afternoon/ day/ I have no idea run. Mainly because it involves me jogging up four flights of stairs, and then about dying. But the people here have seen it happen so many times, it must be nothing. Hey, at least they don't ask me if I need medical attention anymore. Once I catch my breath, I walk to Aura's room. Nobody seems to be in there, so I sit down in the green plastic chair.
"Hey Aura," I say as happy as I possibly can. Even if I don't say anything more that hello, I feel accomplished in a way.

I sit there for a while, staring at my friend's lifeless body, when my phone begins vibrating. I roll my eyes but pick it up anyways.

Quinn.

For some reason, I always feel the need to answer her calls-- mainly because it's habit I guess.
"Yo," I say into the phone as I walk out into the hallway.
"Listen to this," she says. "Reid got stuck in the hospital elevator!"
"Wait. What?" I say, hardly believing it myself. Most of the time, when things are this extreme, she's most likely lying.
"He was riding up the elevator and then it just stopped. Where are you at this exact moment."

And be truth comes out.

"Nowhere."
"Nick," she pesters.
"Fine. I'm at the hospital busting Aura. I didn't think he was coming today." I run my hands through my hair and look down the hallway. Nobody. I wonder if aura is the only one on this hallway. Huh.
"Okay then. I guess your not riding the elevator up or down are ya?" She teased. I rolled my eyes and tried to think of a comeback that was a little better than the one I already have planned out in my head.
"I never go in elevators in the first place. This just proves my point even more that their dangerous," I say, smirking a bit.
"Yeah. Whatever. I gotta go," she says and hangs up before I can say anything else.

Well then.
