DURGA:- A nineteen year old girl from a very normal and conservative hindu family, who is never taught to stay quite and calm for injustice. Her father has always taught her to be a strong girl since childhood. Being a bhakt ( devotee) of Ma Durga, she always tries to maintain the serenity and culture she holds. She is very loving towards to animal and fond of serving. In her locality many people considers her as a form of Goddess Bhagwati.

PADMAVATI:- Durga's Maasi's daughter. Unlike her she was quite and calm and very soft hearted and was a little scared of everything. She was her sister's shadow. Just like Durga she was also fond of animals. Sometimes in her elder sister's absence she used to bring kitten and feed them.

ASHOK:- Ashok was Durga's father. A simple man, who loves both of his his daughter to every drop of blood. He signifies his daughter as Lakshmi devi ( the goddess of fortune). He is a very well respected man and is very gentle.
SOMLATA :- Somlata was Durga's Maasi ( maternal aunt). During their childhood Durga lost her mother. Since then Somlata is her mother. She taught both the girls to be bold and independent as she herself was one.

SATYA:- Satya was a Young boy from Kolkata, who was very quite and calm, raised by his mother. He never raised his voice on girls. But when he was angry, his wrath was similar to Lord Shiva. Due to his handsome face, well built body and his calm nature, many compared him with Lord Shiva, which he didn't like at all. Also being a boy from Kolkata his Knowledge in everything was vast.

CHANDRA:- Chandra was a dancer is kolkata, who used to dance in temples. She was no less than an Apsara ( woman from heaven). She was also very knowledgeable towards her culture. But being a poor family and lower caste, the society didn't signify her much.
