Not sometimes, but often, we may say things that we don't mean or that we are wrong about. We do will change our words when we see things more clearly. I may have believed that friendship does not exist, and that is because of the specific person who made me believe so with proofs. But time changes things, right?
That same person, after a while asked me "What about someone who gets hurt for you and is not a family? Aren't they a friend?" That was a rhetorical question. It was not asked to be answered, but in fact, it was asked to clear things more than they were before. It was asked to prove that it does exist. And it was asked to prove that we all do get things wrong sometimes, but we have to correct ourselves when we realize.
That is why we shall never judge soon and always listen to explanations and hear others out, who knows, maybe they are a friend but time hasn't shown it yet!
