We may sometimes read something, a story perhaps, in which we can completely relate to the character's life. We may feel their pain because we've been through them or are going through them. We might sense their joy because we've had that moment or are having it. We might understand their confusion because we've experienced such a puzzle or are experiencing it. We simply can relate to every bit of it. But then it drawns to us that our real lives aren't just a words put beside one another. We realize it's something to live, a battle to win, a field to cross, and a path to finish. We realize that our lives might not exactly be the same as the stories', no matter how alike they are. We realize that our story might not end like this one, but end like many others. Or perhaps, end like this one and unlike many others.
