Today is the 1st of August. And it's Luella's 11th birthday. She had a little party last night for Harry's birthday and they ended up having a sleepover. And now that it was Luella's, they were going to go into the Muggle World to shop for some clothes.
Harry insisted that he would be buying her clothes, since it's her birthday, but she would be buying his because he desperately needed new clothing. She was sick of seeing him in Dudley's old clothes. They were absolutely enormous on him. And Harry was glad to be getting rid of them too.
As she guessed last night, her mother had been out. But now she was back, and she wasn't happy. Especially that she was being held at wand point by her daughter.
"I thought I told you that you weren't going to that damn magic school?! You little freak!"
Luella rolled her eyes and decided to finally stick up for herself. She ignored the stinging of her cheek as she had been slapped for being gone all day yesterday.
"So? It's not like you are going to stop me. I'm the one with magic here, and I'm going to this school whether you like it or not. Get someone else to get your bloody alcohol and cigarettes whilst I'm gone. Or better yet, do it yourself. You're the adult here. And never, ever, abuse me again. Or I'll get the police on you, we have all the proof we need to get you locked up."
Moira was a little taken aback at the attitude she had just recieved from her daughter. She had never talked back before. She had the thought of beating some sense into her daughter, but when she saw the tip of Luella's wand start to glow menacingly red, she knew it would be a bad idea.
"Now, Harry and I are going to go on a little shopping spree."
Moira scoffed and asked condescendingly.
"With what money?"
Luella smirked and revealed with mirth.
"Oh you know, seeing as I'm the last Knight with magic, all of the money that's in Dad's vault, is now mine. He was pretty wealthy. And no, I'm not sharing any of it with you. You may be my mother, but you're a shit excuse for one."
Luella added on, tightening her grip on her wand.
"God, I can't wait till I'm old enough to get away from you, leaving you to rot because you can't seem to look after yourself. I doubt any of your little hookups would want to look after you either. I'm surprised anyone is actually willing to shag you. You're disgusting. Inside and out."
Harry, who was stood next to Luella, smiled proudly. He silently cheered her on.
"I've put a spell on my door so you can't get in to destroy all of my stuff and kill my kitten.. yeah, I know it was you who killed Hoppy the rabbit when I was six. Don't even try to deny it, I saw you."
She put her wand arm down and chuckled at the scared look her mother was currently wearing on her aging face.
"Bye!"
Luella exclaimed cheerfully as she grabbed Harry's hand and pulled him away and out of the house. When the door slammed shut behind them, Luella exhaled loudly and she stated.
"Wow. I think I went a little too crazy."
Harry shook his head and swung their connected hands back and forth as they walked.
"Absolutely not. It was epic! She really deserved that. If only I was that confident with the Dursley's."
Luella smiled, but replied back.
"Well, how about we do that tonight? They're probably so scared of magic after Hagrid had put a pigs tail on Dudley. And if they try to say that you can't use magic, you can prove them wrong."
