1st September, 1991. The day Luella and Harry will be going to Hogwarts. And they were both extremely excited. They had spent the whole of August reading their books and practicing spells so that they'd be prepared.

And the night before the 1st, they had packed their trunks.

Vernon kindly offered them a ride to the train station. It was 10:30, so they had 30 minutes to get onto Platform 9¾, or the train would leave without them. And even though Hagrid forgot to tell them how to find and get onto the said platform, Luella and Harry had looked for the information in one of the books.

Thankfully, it explained that they had to stand in between Platform 9 and 10. And that to be able to get onto Platform 9¾, they had to go through a brick wall. They were shocked at first, but knew that it was a magical wall, so they didn't have to worry about crashing into it.

And just like it instructed, Luella and Harry found Platform 9 and 10. They went through the wall together and stared in awe at the shiny train called the Hogwarts Express. The platform was full of people. Children and teenagers were saying goodbye to their parents and meeting up with their friends.

There was only 15 minutes left until the clock would reach 11am. Luella and Harry wanted to get on the train early, so they made their way over to the train conductor, who was putting away the trunks onto the train. The trunks had its very own compartment.

Luckily, Harry and Luella had kept their satchels by their sides as it had the uniforms in. They would need to change into them at some point during the journey. They gave their trunks to the conductor, but kept their pets in their grips.

Harry entered the train first, but before Luella could, she heard an elderly lady scold what looked like her grandson.

"This is the fourth time you've lost Trevor, today, Neville. You need a better grip on him. Or put him in a cage so he doesn't hop away so easily."

The boy was red in the face, and he looked upset.

"Lulu, you coming?"

Luella looked away from the grandmother and grandson and looked at Harry, who was waiting for her. She smiled and nodded at him. It didn't take that long for them to find an empty compartment, and when they did, they sat down next to each other.

Luella got her kitten out of the carrier and petted her as the little thing curled up on her lap. Hedwig was let out of her cage and she began to preen herself.

Harry and Luella talked to each other and soon enough, a voice was heard.

"Excuse me? Do you mind? Everywhere else is full."

I doubt that. It's a magical train, it uses magic to expand the interior to make more room in the compartments.

There stood a ginger boy. He was looking at the two sitting there and smiled awkwardly. Harry spoke up.

"Not at all."

The boy looked relieved and entered the compartment. He sat down opposite Harry and introduced himself.

"I'm Ron, by the way. Ron Weasley.

Harry replied back, ready for the freak put about his name.

"I'm Harry Potter. And this is-"

He's cut off by Ron exclaiming in shock as his eyes widened.

"You're Harry Potter? Can I see your scar?"

Harry shifted uncomfortably in his seat, but reluctantly lifted his fringe to show the scar. Ron let out a "wicked!", and stared in awe. Harry let go of his fringe and glanced at Luella, who looked annoyed. He added quickly.
