(ONGOING)
If there was someone Harry Potter would absolutely die for (it's definitely not Voldemort), it would be Luella Knight.
The two of them are as thick as thieves and would hardly leave each others sides when they were together. They always...
6pm arrived quite quickly for Harry and Luella. With Harry's permission, Luella had told Susan and Hannah where she was going so they wouldn't worry if they didn't see her at the Halloween Feast.
They waited at the main doors for McGonagall, and it didn't take long for her to meet them there. She then gestured for them to follow her, so they did. They walked through the Viaduct Courtyard and exited the Hogwarts gates so they could go to the apparition point.
Once they were there, McGonagall suggested that they grab onto her, so they grabbed an arm each.
"It's going to feel like you're being squeezed in a tube. And you may be sick since it's your first time."
Luella and Harry looked at each other nervously, but they prepared themselves and in seconds, they were sucked away. And it did indeed feel like they were being squeezed in a tube. When they landed, Luella and Harry let go of McGonagall and almost collapsed to the ground. They gagged, but thankfully didn't throw up.
Harry asked once he got his breath back.
"Where are we?"
McGonagall smiled sadly and replied back.
"Godric's Hollow. This is the village James and Lily, and baby Harry lived in. Your parents graves are here."
Sadness overwhelmed Harry and he frowned. Luella grabbed his hand and squeezed it. They followed McGonagall down the street and they came across a destroyed cottage. Harry suddenly stopped walking and stared at the cottage.
"W-Was this our home?"
McGonagall swallowed deeply, but nodded. Luella saw a sign and noticed a lot of black ink on it.
"What's this?"
Harry looks at the sign and realized that was messages. McGonagall responded back.
"It's a Memorial Sign. Witches and Wizard's can write messages, carve their initials, sign their names. The cottage was turned into a monument."
Harry turned to McGonagall and exclaimed.
"A monument?! My parents were murdered in this house. Why was it turned into a monument?"
Harry looked angry and Luella looked like she was in disbelief. McGonagall gulped at their looks and explained.
"Albus thought it'd be a good idea. To commemorate them."
Harry scoffed bitterly and mumbled.
"Of course Dumbledore did. Why does it always come back to him? He had no right. Even though the owners have died, it's still technically my house, I'm still alive. And why hasn't it been fixed? The whole roof is gone."
McGonagall sighed and didn't really know what to say. Harry didn't bother reading the messages that people had left, he was too annoyed. He dragged Luella away and asked McGonagall where to go.
She led them more down the street until they came across an obelisk. It was covered in names. But as they got closer, it turned into a statue of a man and a woman with a baby on the woman's lap.
