Roxy ended up insisting on taking care of Elijah so that Allison could go home and rest.

It was around ten pm now and Allison and Theodore had made it back home.

Allison let out a loud yawn, exposing her fatigue, as she walked through the front door with her brother behind her.

Across from her, in the open living room, Allison could see Klaus and someone else which confused her: Rebekah.

Allison's heart stopped as she whispered, "Rebekah. I thought you left."

Rebekah turned around from her seat on the couch to see her best friend.

Rebekah stood up and walked over to her with a smile, "Yes. I realised that I couldn't be away from you all at a time like this."

Rebekah gulped as Allison engulfed her in a hug.

If only she knew the real reason, she thought.

The real reason she came back was because Allison had gotten kidnapped. However, when she found out she was alright, she was about to leave again, but that was before a certain someone stopped her.

Marcel managed to manipulate the girl into going against her brother by using their past love story against her, and because of that, convincing her to join in on his plan to stop Klaus.

The plan seemed to have failed though as Marcel's pathetic French Quarter vampires were no match for the original hybrid.

Klaus hadn't thrown a row yet as Rebekah embraced Allison, the guilt inside her only increased when looking up from the ground and laying eyes on the man she'd kissed just a day ago: Theodore.

The two locked eyes for a moment, the tension between them rising when Allison broke their hug, "That's enough hugging for me. Me and the baby need to breathe, Bex."

"Right." Rebekah let out a nervous chuckle, not removing her eyes from Theodore.

Allison seemed to catch onto the couple's eye contact and moved away from them, going to sit next to her love on the couch.

"I was expecting you to be back in the morning. Elijah's bite couldn't have healed that fast." Klaus said, sketching the structure of a face.

Allison sighed, still frustrated at the man for his actions despite them being deserved, "My friend Roxy's taking care of him."
