Maenya POV
"I know many of you have travelled long leagues to be at these games, but I promise you will not be disappointed. when I look at the fine knights in these lists I see a group without equal in our histories and this great day has been made more auspicious by the news. I am happy to share. Queen Aemma has begun her labours!" Fathers voices echoed and Rhaenyra snuck into the royal box

Sava and Eleyse were on my right, Alicent on my left and Rhaenyra on Alicent's left.
"What kept you this time?" I whispered
Rhaenyra simply gave me a cheeky smile and shrugged
Father continued "May the luck of the seven shine upon all combatants!"
The crowds applauded and the games begun.
Men jousted each other over and over but there was a constant winner
"A mystery knight?" Sava asked
"No, a ser Cole of the Stormlands" Alicent said
"I've never heard of house Cole" Rhaenyra said not interested "Did you know, Lord Stokeworth's daughter is promised to that young Tarly squire"

"They're to be married as soon as he wins his knighthood" I said
"He's been trying to get his knighthood for a while though" Sava adds
"Best get on with it" Alicents comments "I heard lady Elinor is hiding a swollen belly beneath her dress"
"Really?!" I asked
She nods with a smile
"Who's the father I wonder" I say laughing
"I think it's the Baratheon squire, have you seen the way he's staring at her" Elyse said confidently
