Maenya POV
Rhae and I were pouring the wine for the small council when Otto delivered some disturbing news.
Once I had entered the small council chambers I had noticed Otto looking at me funny. I could decipher what the look meant, though I could tell he was planning something and that it had something to do with me.
Not only that but my father had been acting jumpy around me, flinching whenever I look his way, cowering at my gaze. Truth be told I thought I hid my hatred for him rather well. After all I haven't said anything to him, never threatened him. So why now did he act like the stranger itself had come to take him once I walk in the room.
His favouritism for Rhaenyra grew, she was always a daddies girl, they would spend they days in the garden, with me always watching from the window.
